There are some trolls that just need to unsubscribe. Keep your hate to yourself. Daniel was and is loved by those who knew him from the beginning. Fans in the US would love to see him in IndyCar or if he wanted to stay based in Australia he could get into V8 SuperCars which is something even Bottas has talked about himself doing after his F1 career is over.
@Idollurker3 күн бұрын
The way RedBull treated Daniel vs the way they treated Lawson for his first drive, makes me think they orchestrated Daniel's car to lose. Why did they not do the same rebuild of the car for Daniel's drive vs what they just did for Lawson? They did not want to lose Lawson so Daniel's car was managed to rarely match Tsunoto's car. Daniel was strung along like he was going to get a shot at driving the RedBull car until all seats but Audi had been filled. Daniel tested 0.2 seconds compared to Max. So no direct notice to Daniel or the public that he was a goner and no send off. So no wonder Lawson with his new car is able to get good track times - mission accomplished.

let's see: 2007 Red Bull started to sponsor Daniel's junior career 2012-13 gave Daniel a proper chance to display his talents at Toro Rosso, had he stayed at HRT his career would've ended. 2014-18 promoted to the main team Red Bull Racing, Daniel was never used as a #2 to Vettel, Daniel was never asked to pull aside to let Max have a win. Daniel was never on lesser equipment. 2023 Red Bull hired Daniel back as test driver after being DUMPED from McLaren 2023 was given a chance to race again at Alpha Tauri which was meant for junior drivers 2023 despite the lack of results he was given a full contract for the following year over Lawson, and a chance to be on the main team again! 2024 was given far more races than any previous driver also swapped mid-season, was left the door wide open to come back to the main team, and was never shafted for Yuki So this guy was picked up young, given multiple chances by BOTH teams Red Bull owns, was always on equal machinery, was never asked " Daniel this is James" kind stuff, was picked up again after being trashed away, was brought up to speed again, based on his own performance a chance to be back at the top team and somehow Red Bull are bad people? What sad is that the official F1 KZbin channel did a better job regarding Riccardo. They made a compilation video of all 8 of his wins to honor him after with 24 hours of the announcement of his sacking. Whoever operates the official KZbin channel knew what they are doing. To me Riccardo was one of the more interesting personalities in Formula 1, along with Vettel and Alonso. Now that only leaves me with Alonso who barely appears in Grill the Grid, but does appear frequently in interviews. I’m not saying Riccardo should have stayed in Formula 1. It’s good someone else can take a seat in Formula 1, but I’m disappointed at the timing Red Bull decided to do this and with little to commend him for the successes he did have with their teams in the past.

How can you do all that he did for Red Bull and they didn't so much as give you a company watch when you left. I wasn't the biggest fan of him coming back after McLaren, but he was a decent guy, so he got that extra time to prove it on track and really couldn't, but I do feel like he at least deserved all the cheesy goodbyes and lookbacks for all that he has done for the sport. If the FIA had an sense at all, they would snatch Daniel up and keep him in front of a camera as a media contact or F1 spokesman. I never cared if Daniel won a race, but I have watched everything he does in front of a camera. Let him comment on races, let him do the pre and post race interviews, let him do ANYTHING as long as there's a camera there, and I'll watch it. Make him THE F1 ambassador.

They made him a rich man and famous. Perhaps he can forgive them this?

Thank you for making this video. At the moment, it feels like Daniel died on that track in Singapore and Helmut and Christian pulled the trigger. Daniels win in Monaco without a MGU-K was just remarkable.

I have said a long time ago that RB should have told Daniel and Liam this a long time ago, so both Liam or Daniel could move on with what is next for the driver in 2025. Now with the time left in the season, meaing seats available not only in F1, but in onther series, it may make it really hard for Daniel to get a drive elsewhere if he wants to carry on racing in another series. RB, a very professional team. Not

'Seems like Horner & RB should have had a "DR Last Race Event Contingency Plan," to account for the PR Handling of "possible outcomes:" A. "The Expected Race Result" or B. "Some Freak Event," wherein DR (somehow) Gets a Podium. 'Dunno, but I'm sure that they did decide on some or "no" plan. Either way, this does "feel like" a shit send off... for (an admittedly) "rarely second chance-given & underperforming," BUT ALSO, a "uniquely-beloved," F1 Driver/Personality. Maybe there was just no "good way" to do this?

Agree with the sentiments.. the management of this was terrible.. Laurent is a spineless yes man, not a manager and Christian Horner couldn't be trusted as far as you could kick him... (And how the hell is Marko still there.. if it wasn't for Verstappen wielding the quit axe...) Agree Daniel didn't do great in the RB, but he has only ever done well in a car with balance. I knew when he agreed to the gig it wouldn't work out. But I really believe if they swapped Perez for him he would be able to show the old him somewhat and would help more with the points than perez.. it all comes down to Mexican money on that one I think!

Real F1 fans don't want clowns doing events before races or producing IG content. We want Hunts, Sennas, Räikkönens battling on the tarmac and being themselves on and off the track.

I 100% feel exactly the same as you do. I was a strong Red Bull fan...... NOT ANYMORE!!!! I have lost all respect for Christian Horner (never liked Helmut from the start) and I hope he gets what's coming to him. My support now goes to Williams.

Totally agree, Daniel deserved more, helmet Marko and Christian Horner are an absolute disgrace to Formula 1 to the point that I'm not even going to watch another race until they are made to exit the sport that I love, Singapore was my last race as well, I hope Red Bull actually are forced out of the sport.

NO! The opposite iS true. They let Ricciardo stay TO LONG! Finally F1 principals have undetood and now they are afinally replacing underperforming drivers - Ricciardo, Magnussen, Zhou etc. - with young talented drivers. NOW, it's also time to let Perez and Stroll go out. They never perform. OUT, OUT!!
