He gets a really bad cough and depending on which path you choose to go in the game he does because of it. So that's why he's doing the whole sickness thing here in this video. @@sunspot5 there are dimensions between GTAO and RDO. GTA has microtransactions in form of ingame currency. This does not give you any kind of advantage over other players. Pay or grind. Grind for 1 million+ a day is easily done. Speaking of experience. RDO is HEAVILY leaning towards pay2win since you can either earn ingame currency dollars OR buy gold bars with real money with which you can buy stuff and certain, good stuff can ONLY be bought with gold bars. Tale the black arabar horse. Can only be purchased through gold bars and it's definitely the best horse out there. That is PAY TO WIN. GTA isn't pay to win

McLovin ' i bought it as well just for the game, but still have issue from now and then. and i can tell it’s not my fault entirely because i can go from playing 5 matches in a row with one person and then the next be laggy. it has to be because of them. the connectivity isn’t the only problem though. the matchmaking is the biggest problem. not to mention how the battle arena is set up for when waiting in line to play. doesn’t make the base game any bad, but the online deserves to be better

I think the biggest problem with Red Dead Online is how empty and lifeless society and life is. The towns are basically empty, theres no way to interact with people. The fact that they didnt even bother getting 10 voice actors in 5 male 5 female and letting the player choose between them.

I played Red dead online for a few days then it was boring because all i did was doing alden mission robbery, a few jobs from strangers, buy items from general store, buy ammo from gunsmith. That's all i do everytime. Very boring.

Sorry if someone already said this, but I'm not reading all the comments to see. Regarding mini-games like poker, blackjack, etc. The reason they stripped these out is (I believe, I am not claiming exclusive knowledge) because of carefully structuring the microtransactions in such a way that they don't run afoul of gambling laws. Think about it - if they introduce ways of exchanging gold purchased with real money for Red Dead dollars, or if they have it where gold acts as a purchased substitute for earned Red Dead dollars, then being able to gamble in game with one of those currencies runs uncomfortably close to actual online gambling. In fact, if you could bet gold that WOULD be actual online gambling. If the gold has specific values/exchange rates for goods in the game that make it a direct substitute to the earned money then it's almost like gambling with chips if you bet with earned RDR money if it has a direct exchange value to purchased gold bars. If there were no planned microtransaction currencies in the works then I bet they'd have poker and blackjack etc. in there.

I’ll give Rockstar the benefit of the doubt and trust that they’ll add much more content over time. When GTA Online first launched it was buggy and didn’t have a lot to do in it. But, Rockstar kept updating it and now there’s so much; coop heists, motorcycle gangs, owning nightclubs, etc. I think gambling, train, bank, and store robberies will be coming in the near future... or not.

How can you not mention hunting!? it's such a big part of RDO, and one of the things i enjoy most. Not to mention gang hideouts, treasure maps and horse racing. You make it sound like there's nothing to do lol. AND it's only like 3 weeks old. If you paid attention you would also know, that Rockstar will implement content after all the bug fixing. It's been confirmed there will be wagons. In a year or so, this game will be even more awesome, and I would be happy to be a high level seasoned cowboy when that time comes.

Jesus wept, its a fucking beta. As it progresses there will be more to it. Yes the grindy nature of the game right now is not great, and the whole economy is screwed, but you cannot expect every single fucking thing to be in it at the beta stage. I have had my issues with it with game crashes and holes in the world, but I know that right now this is not the final product. All the stuff like gambling will no doubt make its way into it as they build it up. Too many people whining about it has not got this, has not got that etc etc. Just wait. Look at GTA online. That is not the same game it was when it came out because they keep adding stuff to it. What a surprise a wild west game is shoot em up central, what did you expect? Its the same bloody thing in GTA as well, so why are you surprised? If all you want to do is play poker and go fishing, there are better ways to do it than in an online wild west game.

When’d you do a first mission with a new stranger as you get a small intro clip. At that moment you get placed into a “private lobby” that’s why you don’t find anyone until you log out from that session. Actually nowadays those lobby’s are gold because you can hunt and fish without getting grieffed ;)

The reason why the game is so bare ATM is because they wanted to release the Base of the game as simple as it could to minimize the amount of exploits, that they can fix up, So that when they add all the much missing content there wouldn't be hundreds of unexpected XP or Money glitches.

thats what pisses me off about rockstar. they only way to get stuff in their online games is to pay for it or to grind for it. i have a month played in gta online with constant grinding i only have like 6 cars and 1 business and 1 apartment. i can never find people to do heists with so im stuck doing races and missions and at most they'll give you 15k.

This game is overrated imo. the single player was ok at best but didn't really make sense factoring rdr1 given how important they were trying to make arthur seem to john. none of these people are really mentioned in that game except a few people. a prequel was never intended when they made rdr1... controls are not very refined for a game this late in the generation. details were its selling point but couldn't decide if it wanted to be a video game or a sim.. some things just did not make sense or blend well. i mean i can have a load out for my clothes but not my guns... even though i have an armory at camp yet my horse can carry all those guns but only 3 outfits... i could go on but this is too long already. online...don't even get me started. based on what i've played so far and from playing gta 5 since ps3 i already know where this is headed.. game wasn't horrible but it was a let down for me. I'd give it a 6.5/10 overall. cyberpunk 2077 will be more my speed i think.
