They need to give us the ability to rob banks (I know you can do that in Red Dead Redemption, but we need more!) and trains. The ability to rob people, break into houses, fix the fighting system which was very weak in RDR and of course, the fucking witnesses! Multiple characters really ruin the gaming experience. IMO it kills the immersion and you really don't even get attached to any of the characters... From what I got playing GTA 5, three characters mean that they need to make three separate watered down story line for the three characters. Instead, they should make one in depth story line for the one main protagonist. I thought it was cool for them to implement the system but again I didn't get to know the characters like I did with John or any of the past GTA characters, so I didn't like the 5th one as much as everyone else...

Erick Santos It's a lot of work... Like it's a great thing to have but you'd have to make about 20 different story on one timeline of a character. I think it's awesome seeing how successful Naughty Dog's game: The Last of Us turned out, but ultimately that would mean it would take gta or in this case Read Dead about 5+ years depending on how big their staff's are and how well it was executed. If you looked at the latest Bathesda's game: Fallout 4, I'd say it was a pretty well executed game... But they had such a daunting task of completing the game with multiple story line that sometimes if you answer A for question 1, you'll get the same result as if you answer B, C, or D. I would love to have multiple ending but if it fails to deliver, then I don't care...

***** The way I see it... You play supporting characters the whole time as trevor, mike, and franklin support eachother storyline instead of one consistent protagonist. Like in SA, IV, or even earlier characters had a story to them and a personality... All I got out of V was that they both work together to the point of doing heist for money... The story rely too much on the money aspect instead of actually building up the characters personality imo. What I can say is that Rockstar shouldn't have reserved so much of their multiplayer content away for online only. I miss going into building like cluckingbell or workout in SA type deal. They aimed to make the online multiplayer experienced and lacked a little on the single player aspect in my eye.

It's probably Jack marstons story. Think about it, it's called red dead redemption 2 which leads me to believe it's adding on to what was previously done. Otherwise they would have called it something different, like red dead (R word, fill in blank) plus if you look at the map, you notice all the way to the left side, is tall trees and great plains, which is where Jack starts out. John Marston was consistent. Literally every time he was done doing favors for whoever he asked the person who gave you the mission on if they got any information or if they were ready to attack (Depends on where you are in the game) and in nearly every mission he mentioned his wife, son, or both. How do you want him to do it all alone? He needed help, and in the old West no one help you for free. The secondary characters are exchanging favors. Also, the missions where John helps "for free", we must remember the whole context of the game. ***** Not exactly. More linear games like: Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Devil May Cry 3, Portal 2....you go straight to your objective. That happens more in open world games. But look at GTA V and Skyrim: GTA V 90% of the game, you made the missions because you want to make a assault, not to exchange favors. Or you need to help someone because you like the person, Skyrim you exchange favors...but you don't need em most of the time. RDR makes the exchange system, but it does make sense because of the context of the story and the characters

Other than them - all the non RAGE enginge games are also worse, because the RAGE engine is absolutely fantastic and the best that ever was in Rockstar's history. So it's really a fight between GTA 4 and GTA 5. And that's a pretty fair fight that depends on the person's perspective. Still - GTA 4 and GTA 5 take up the top spot in the series. Not the bottom :)

I really hope the following 3 things for RD2: - Don't take GTA's gun/ injury physics, I really liked how I could shoot people in the center of mass only once or twice, and they where disabled or dead, it felt like your revolver had 6 lethal shots in it which could be used for killing, not massaging your victim. - Don't have multiple protagonists I can switch to, I hope R* doesn't turn that into the newest thing for these type of titles. It didn't really work for me in GTA V outside of the main storyline. It was fun, but after time it just felt like a gimmick. - I hope they bring a fully flushed out PC port to the game. I would except a year delay if that what it takes though. Just think of all the mods etc this game is going to get. BlackwaterPDFR? lol, idk ;p

I didn't actually enjoy the 3 character mechanic in GTA5 but the idea of having two protagonists who are enemies is really intriguing. Imagine playing against yourself, and knowing that success for one character might mean failure for the other. Rockstar is a company fully capable of creating the character, setting and narrative to pull this off.

I might be in the minority here, but I don't want red dead redemption 2 to take place in the Old west, let alone further back. At the end of the first game, when you played as Jack, I noticed an excellent opportunity for a sequel: World War I was starting. I know not a lot of people like Jack, but hear me out, as he can be fixed. How about we play as Jack in 1918 (A few years after the end of the game, so Jack is a little older and more experienced ) when America enters the war. He is drafted against his will. Somehow he gets separated from his unit out in the field, or he is on some kind of lone secret mission for the government (idk. Some reason for him to be alone). And the land we have to work with is the entire western front of ww1 Europe. He interacts with the French, the British, the Germans, the Austrians, civilians on both sides, you name it. And it would still be the old west, just a different west. See what I did there?

The Witcher 3. I mean all of the cosmetic DLC's are free (sure wish that Capcom would do that too), and you need to pay only for DLC's that add like 20+ hours of story and gameplay + new equipment. Hell, first two games don't even need a DRM, and every single one of them has no multiplayer. And these are not even necessary for the main plot. Fallout 4 is also pretty good. But Bethesda likes to make shitty DLC's so there's that.

I love Red Dead Redemption - the story at least, though it was literally 6 years ago I can't remember specifics. I just remember the cowboy theme and the good ole' animal hunting and how fun it was roaming under the night sky with your trusty steed, with the fear of not knowing whether or not you were being stalked by coyotes. And I loved lassoing fellas who were trying to outrun my horse too. Another thing is exploring around new parts and then coming across a "damsel in distress"'s I loved getting my paypack on them, or just sniping out birds from the sky. Though it is vague in my mind one of the really fun things to do was searching for them gold quests(?) hope I'm recalling those side-quests correctly... Anyway my only major concern will be mutliplayer; to be candid, i found it extremely boring in RDR literally all you could do (from memory) was ride hundreds of miles through open/plain fields of deserts, exlporing with friends was fun (for the first hour that is till you explored everything) then there was practically NOTHING else to do. just shoot people and ride on horses.

Here's a plot idea The game still follows John Marston but it has a moral system. Remember how he said Dutch left him for dead? Remember that The game is a prequel and shows him as a veteran in Dutch's gang. Throughout the game, you make choices that determines how the gang sees you (but some things you can't control to keep with continuity). But no matter what, you see as John slowly begins to see the wrong in what Dutch and his men are doing. The last mission is a bank robbery. You have the option to shoot a banker or Dutch. Either way, you get shot by someone before you can. If you choose to shoot Dutch, a gang member shoots you and if you choose the banker, a cop shoots you. Either way, Dutch leaves you to die. When John wakes up, he's greeted by the men from blackwater who inform him that they will be holding his wife and son until he captures Bill Williamson. The game ends as he boards a train to fort Mercer. Maybe not exactly like that but I'd love something like that

i want to be able to rob trains and not just one mission i mean i see a train with a money car on it and im able to jump on raid safe and jump off and ride away ....i would also like to be able to use lasso to drag people even after they die what i want that for is simple while bounty hunting lasso guy and drag him all the way to town because i want to bring the guys corpse to the sheriff i have to currently settle with bringing him to town then killing in front of sheriff which is fun but not the same .... and i really like your idea of 2 playable characters on opposite sides of law and you have to make a tough decision at the end of the game sounds pretty damn cool

I think another cool idea would be if you were in a gang with marston and controlled three of them and you could do heists on banks but you'd have to do missions on the three characters as a prerequisite, one could be a locksmith, one a demo expert, and a con man
