Yeah I agree. This scene kinda told me the end is near, and therefore, the end of Arthur, and the song playing while I was riding, it just hurt. You feel a deeper connection to Arthur than you do most video game characters, like you actually know the guy. Idk the Dragonborn, but I play as him and can feel pretty godly, so I don't feel humility with him like I do Arthur. I'll also never forget the very end of Red Dead 1 with John. I screamed out loud, "WHAAAAT?!", aggressively I might add, then reloaded and did it again like 3 or 4 times before I realized this is just how it ends for John, no matter how good you're at with videogames. You're not Tommy Vercetti, you're John and Arthur in these games. No Scarface mansion here folks.

Somehow I felt these two events to be connected in a way I can't quite describe, it's as if in RDR1 you go on an epic quest through uncharted territory while in RDR2 this song plays right after you come back from one, while knowing Morgan's time is running out. This is going to sound cheesy, but as I watch this, I’m looking back on the whole campaign, and it’s beautiful to watch Arthur’s character arc, and watching him learn to deal with what is going to happen to him. This was the moment this game really hit me. Like I was loving it and having a tonne of fun but this was the moment it really fell into my heart. After all the mad Bank jobs and ferry heists and everything in guarma, having your return to the mainland being a sombre, lonely ride to your old camp just hoping to find your friends while this masterpiece of a song plays is just amazing. Might be my favourite gaming memory

I have vivid memories of playing this for the first time last year and thinking that I was near Saint Denis so my horse would pick me up so I didn't get on the horse at van horn. Stupid mistake but it made the trip so atmospheric and although I shed a tear at Hosea's death it was the first time I honestly felt immersed in the world and in love with the game and characters. Also going into the game knowing Arthur's eventual fate in chapter 6 this was a great bit of foreshadowing and showed a true change in Arthur making what I knew was coming hit even harder when it did eventually happen. My favourite part of my favourite game

NGL, I had completely missed this, the first thing I had Arthur do here was go to the Saloon and eat 20 meals and drink 20 beers, then went North to the stable to see if I could get one of my previous horses saved (so not to steal one).
