Why do people quote these very simplistic words from video game characters? And act like it's some really deep or significant piece of dialogue? "I tried...in the end I did" "Be loyal to what matters" "I gave you everything I had" These are basic C grade filler dialogues! What's so great about them, or so significant that every fankid keeps mentioning them in quotes? Do games not understand what a good, memorable quote is? Or what exactly makes a quote quotable?

I love the symbolism in the first song. That the violin symbolizes his fear of dying and the guitar symbolizes his bravery in the face of death. Arthur is afraid of dying but knows it's inevitable, and that he must do what he can with the time he has left. Those two thoughts are battling with each other as the song's violin and guitar battle for center of the stage. Then as the song comes to an end they kind of harmonize as he comes to terms with it all. Excellent composing.
@titustavares335 Жыл бұрын
It’s a somber but satisfying melody. Like, it’s the end, I’m afraid. It’s time to go, but I fought for love, and it shall prevail…the violins pick up, match the rest of the melody, the slow motif in the back changes meaning. Now it’s a bittersweet sendoff. Only one way forward. Redemption.

I always thought loyalty was a great quality but it only got Arthur killed in the end, he got killed for being so loyal to Dutch and the gang he gave everything and all he got was betrayal. To what extent must one person be loyal? and how do you know you must stop? How do you know what really matters? what do you do when it all comes crashing down? When everything you've ever know is destroyed?

Ain't nothing matter to me more then this gang but loyalty isn't always the solution to problems we come to and when this gang comes to an end...well John you run and keep running and don't look back and me I'll be fine and you go live your life as a man and be with your family your safe now and nothing isn't gonna stop me from getting you out of this bullshit even if it's the last goddamn thing I do. This song tells the whole story

Arthur was always a good person deep down, I don’t think he ever truly wanted be a brutal outlaw like how he was, it just seems he was forced into that life, being born to parents that orphaned him, left him seemingly without a second thought, having nowhere else to go as a kid until he found Dutch and the gang and that was the only place he could go from there. Same with John from how it seems, it’s really sad actually, if they didn’t have such rough upbringings, their good sides never would have been so buried until things got too far and as bad as they did.
