Luckily, we had just wrapped up all the info on the M10 and were ready to move on to Q2. Perfect timing for a power failure.

I have a M10P and a M10M, can I use the same formatted SD card that I have used in the M10P to get the updated firmware on this SD card on the M10M or do I have to format the SD card in the M10M first and then do all the other steps

Because of the power cut you missed out the M10-D , I'm pretty sure I know how to do it looking at your website , as I don't have access to a computer at the moment ,can you still do a firmware update using a mobile , I've downloaded the file , it shows on my phone as a grey folder with a question mark in it , is this correct , many thanks

My M type 240 has missed several firmware updates…..if I update with the latest update does that consolidate all updates including the missed ones or do I have to do each sequentially?
@vincentl.36402 жыл бұрын
You can download the latest update and it includes all the missed ones

I guess DCIM stands for digital camera internal memory? Never thought about it before, My Nikon D810 says the same.

@34:46 The Visoflex (Typ 020) uses an Epson Ultimicron with 1024x768x3 = 2.36 million dots, where the 3 factor stands for R,G,B components. A Full HD display contains 1920x1080x3 = 6.2 million dots which is a lot more than any Visoflex. Camera manufacturers should stop calling “pixels” the dots of an RGB display. It is clearly confusing.

It is not worth to replace 020. I just try both almost the same. My wrong decision to get 020.

I just want to report a bug that I found with the latest (ver. 3.0) SL2-S firmware surrounding the new features, TOGGLE FOCUS POINT and DIRECT SETTING OF ISO using the rear/front dials. When 1) assigning a button to toggle the focus point and 2) assigning either the rear thumbwheel or front dial to directly change the ISO...the focus point will move from where it was last left. This happens for both AF and MF lenses. To recreate the bug, follow the steps below: CHANGING of ISO Step 1) Move the focus point somewhere off center and press the assigned button for toggling the focus point. This will toggle the focus point back to the center. Step 2) Use the rear thumbwheel (or front dial) to change the ISO. Observation 1) The focus point will not stay centered, but move to the previous off-centered location. PHOTO REVIEW Step 1) Move the focus point somewhere off center and press the assigned button for toggling the focus point. This will toggle the focus point back to the center. Step 2) Press the Play button (so you can review any photos recorded on the memory card). Step 3) Press the Play button again to exit the photo review. Observation 2) The focus point will not stay centered, but move to the previous off-centered location. I only have the SL2-S, so I can't comment whether or not this affects the SL2 camera.

@@AIP404 Hi Alejandro! I'm not too keen on the focus "toggle", as I wish it were just a reset (only reset the focus point to the center) like other camera manufacturers have implemented. The issue is that the focus point moves back to the previous location when changing the ISO directly (via the front/rear dial)...but not when changing the shutter speed or aperture using the same dials. I'll have to create a video showing the odd behavior. :)

Hi there Both Visoflex viewfinders are ugly and lack my expectations of resolution, they look like an amateurish afterthought In this day and age I would have thought Leica should have brought out a hybrid viewfinder (like Fuji film X Pro 3) in the M11 - a big missed opportunity This would have eliminated the need for these overpriced accessories, better viewing experience, the need to get the best of fast lenses being attached to the SL cameras as well as leaving room for a flash I’m sorry if you find my critique too negative
