Does red eyes spirit actually work on dragoon? Its a targeting effect and dragoon can't be targeted by either player

@@shawnball359 you could substitute those for the other fusion monster, archfiend of black skull dragon. It isn't lvl 7 and doesn't protect from targeting, but the utopia the lightning effect and burn is very useful going 2nd

Because Predaplant Verte Anaconda can bring this card out simply by sending Red-Eyes Fusion/any Fusion card that can bring it out to the Grave to copy its effect. Also, Verte Anaconda is a Link 2 that can take any 2 Monsters to Link Summon. Think of this kinda like the Brilliant Fusion engine back in 2016 where every deck was playing Gem-Knight Garnet, Brilliant Fusion, and Gem-Knight Seraphnite. Only now it’s atleast 1 copy of each Dark Magician, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Red-Eyes Fusion, Predaplant Verte Anaconda, and Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon. Basically as long as Verte Anaconda is in the game, any deck can use Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon which is why it is as powerful and meta breaking as it is. Ban Verte Anaconda then only Dark Magician and Red-Eyes Decks can use it

The effect is only active while the card is face up on the field. So while dragoon is in the grave you can target it with card effects.
