Red Godzilla! The Original Burning Godzilla!

It time to take a look at Red Godzilla, an unused concept meant for Godzillas Counterattack, a film that would go on to become Godzilla Vs. Mothra of the Heisei era! It was part of a group of unused Mekanikong concepts as well. The idea of Red Godzilla would evolve into Burning Godzilla from Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah.

Godzilla's Atomic Breath is possibly comprised of ionized gas such as plasma. It was blocked by Mechagodzilla's Mega Buster, resulting in an Energy Beam Lock. Were it a laser, it would simply pass through, as light rarely interacts with anything and is not affected by magnetic fields outside of ones nearing magnetars in power. Being a monster created and powered by radioactivity, Godzilla likely uses ionizing radiation to create his Atomic Breath. The more powerful spiral versions of Godzilla's heat ray are often accompanied by what appears to be a lighting bolt spiraling around the heat ray. Plasma is magnatic, so it is possible Godzilla uses an electromagnatic charge to propel or shoot his heat rays like a railgun or coilgun. It is even possible Godzilla uses this electrical charge to ionize gas he expells as his heat ray.
