Well, to an extent Given Injustice, obviously the DCeased Saga, And a choice to use Star Wars arcs Aunt even Marvel arcs, maybe even some of his stage plays and The Deep cartoon, And one of the IDW Rocketeer vignettes, Tom Taylor's purist skill lies within either kid-friendly adventure, pulp rom-dram, and apocalyptic/bad future superhero stories Because I'll tell you right now, he utterly flubbed X-Men and Jon becoming Superman II, He ruined what could have been a great character in Jon Samuel Kent, He even ends up watering down some of his best work with Injustice by reincorporating it into John's subpar sister series Son of Kal-El I couldn't even get past his first issue of Suicide Squad: Bad Blood He specializes in those three aforementioned genres, that's it, cut and dry, end of list

Dceased like Injustice shouldn't have worked but Tom Taylor put his back into them and made them excellent and I would even argue seminal works because at they're core both scenarios of Zombies in DC and Superman goes bad become excuses to explore the core of characters in the moment. DCeased Unkillables felt like it was a homage to Resident Evil: Afterlife with the orphanage replacing the Prison. Villains turned heroes instead of filler characters and 3 heroes. Lastly rather than revealing a destroyed sanctuary, it was fine, alive and protected by magic. I hope the digital run receives a hardcover collection soon because I'm so excited to read it.

I got to say, while he would never do it at this point but it's sort of would be fun to see the stylings of zombies applied to the DC Universe by Kirkman. DCeased is good fun heartfelt apocalypse writing but I appreciate the dark comedy zombie fiction.
