@@fleetu1506 well, it's kinda hard to explain in a youtube comment lol. Imagine the riff is made of low notes (BA) and the higher notes (da) The main riff goes: BA da da BABABA da da BABABA - and then starts with a new chord. He's playing BA da da BABA *REST* da da BABABA He's not playing a last low note

@@SandeepSingh-zc5sh practice a nice miz of muting with your fingering hand and picking hand using ur thumb. Find a comfortable place to rest it. Everyones dif and every guitar is dif. Like my gibson les pauls i rest it in a certain spot on the bridge very lightly. Adjusting pressure and angle and i use the thumb wrap around technique too for my left hand. I learned early on with that styles from john f and hendrix. Etc. Its hard to learn later on. Learn while ur still learning the basics more or less. Youll get it. 7 months is nothing. Even 21 lol. A tip I discovered while struggling to learn this (I’ve got it down now) keep your index finger in the position as if you were playing a barre chord with out pressing down your index finger, but do that for the whole riff instead of just the bass notes like Marty does. I’ve found that way to be way easier and it minimizes the amount that your hands need to move.
