It's funny how simple it is to make tacos, and I just never do. Gonna make some this weekend.

Nice, what was the grocery store lens?

Leica R 19/2.8 v1. My fav lens on Komodo Or Komodo X. Keeps it small and matches the overall form factor of compact cinema camera. 🙏🏼

What Mic is on the komodo and how is it rigged? also small side handle on the left? Such an epic rig!!!
@BradWatanabe Жыл бұрын
It’s a Rose VideoMic NTG. Solid as a scratch / ambient shotgun. The little left side rib is a huge (tiny) help 😀
@hzzmozz Жыл бұрын
Hey man, I absolutely love the Mic/side + top handle configuration. What mount have you used to support your mic like this?
@BradWatanabe Жыл бұрын
It's a combination of things, but it's based on a top handle from SmallRig which has a horizontal 15mm rod mount built in. I have a short 15mm that connects to another piece by smallrig that is a 15mm connector to shotgun mic holder. Keeps everything nice and tight. I'll add links to the description above.

@@BradWatanabe nice rig! would you mind sharing which cable are you using for the shotgun mic? Thanks!!
@BradWatanabe Жыл бұрын
@@KleberEleven it's a custom cable by Mutiny (5-pin to mini) but it doesn't look like it's on their page anymore: mutiny.store/ Recently, I've picked up this cable from Amazon which seems to work pretty well: a.co/d/9t70t4l Let me know if one of them works out

Awesome videos! Does the komodo have built-in stabilization, like OIS or digital? How do you get the video so smooth without gimbal or something?
@BradWatanabe Жыл бұрын
Mahalo! Appreciate the kind words. No IS on lens or IBIS in body… there’s just something about having a heavier camera that allows gravity to help you stabilize. Avoids micro shakes inherent with smaller setups.

Is the slow motion you're using 120fps or 240fps??
@BradWatanabe Жыл бұрын
Nope. 80fps on the lettuce shots. Some 60 elsewhere. Mahalo 🙏🏼

Digging all the K-X content. Can't wait to get mine! Can you confirm how bad the IR pollution is when using heavy ND filters?
@BradWatanabe Жыл бұрын
Thanks much Fred! Sorry, I haven’t noticed any IR pollution in these tests. I can try and do another test with denser ND and I have some Tokina IRNDs I can compare against.
