I have a photograph of my father who died last year aged 95 flying through the air off the ground on this climb in 1953 on god knows what bike as is black and white. When I lived in Worcestershire he used to take me as a kid. I wondered what sort of camera captured it in that era. Very atmosdpheric

I picked-up a random black and white photo that fell out of the book shelf today . took me a few-seconds to realise it was me at around 9yrs-old , sitting on what I think is a BSA-500 motocross-bike . It either was, or later won the 500cc-Title for NZ , owned and ridden by Glen Wroblenski (family later changed their name to Robins ). He held the title for a while until a younger-guy (Morly Shirrifs ) took the title and held it for a few years . The smell of high-octane fuel is etched in my memory . Dave nz

Hey up mate is this supposed to be like drag racing but up hill on dirt or mud depending on England's weather of course, did a couple in Oz years ago but was always a bit challenge to get to top without flipping it, think I'm missing something here if you could please explain I'd appreciate, good video thanks and nice to see that pursang as youse first got to event, had a Frontera of same era first bike a raced
