Artist (and orange enthusiast) here and I have detected foul play. It was claimed that the transition between colors at 3:38 was achieved by only darkening the orange, but this is NOT true. I analized the colors in SAI and the one classified as orange has a value of 17 in the hue wheel, while the "darker" one has a value of 7 (for reference true red is 0). Not only that, but the second one is also slightly less saturated, making it LIGHTER. So it HAS to be more red to be able to be a "darker shade" than the orange. Micro identified correctly, red does have less GREEN, but not less blue (that would just make it a less saturated shade). The second color has LESS green and MORE blue, making it more red (and less yellow) than the first. "Orange" = RGB 255, 73, 0 and "red" = RGB = 255, 53, 26. Whysaac is tripping.

Using photos to try and compare shades of the same colour seems flawed to me, if all incoming light was white and the camera one certified as being 100% colour accurate, perhaps it might work but the first is definitely not true and I suspect the 2nd isn't either; in fact the 1st issue makes, making colour accurate cameras near impossible. So saying "it's darker" is not reflective of the actual colours caught by the camera, even if you take a photo of the same thing, the differing amount of light will vastly more affect the resultant image resulting in differing RGB values and thus will produce photos with different shades or even colours.

2:39 pas un très bon argument. xD il y a différente couleur d'orange juste pour ce fruit. celui dans les commercial étant souvent exagéré vers des tons brillant . c'est les même débat que du turquoise c'est vert ou bleu ? bah les deux x) , indigo pareil bleu ou violet ? c'est entre les deux aussi c'est pareil ici , peu importe son appellation. on pourrait dire que la 1ère couleur est plus orange que le rouge sur le drapeau italien mais moins que sur l'irlandais Perso j'ai cru que c'était le drapeau irlandais au début (avant qu'il parle de pâtes là, je me suis carrément dis qu'ils s'étaient trompé de couleur.... techniquement oui d'ailleurs).

Sur mon portable c est quasi pareil Mais ça dépend des moments , donc y a une histoire de fond, genre si le fond est sombre ou clair. Sur fond noir celui de gauche est plus orange que rouge mais c’est treeees proche du rouge. Par contre tous les drapeaux anglais, italie mexique je les vois rouge sur ordinateur et portable. Je me suis perdu dans leur bataille plusieurs fois 😂

All monitors have larger color ranges than most phones. The monitor was correct in displaying the colors for multiple reasons, Phones need to conserve power so they don't provide as much energy to the screen as an outlet would to a monitor. That's why then you use your phone while its plugged in it gets a little brighter. This means the phone has to average color values, a red with a value of 255 (Max brightness) would be the same as 250. This conserves power. I also have eye dropped the color in Gimp. it has a value of 255 Red + 73 Green. True orange in computer terms is 255 Red + 127.5 Green. It's not red, Its Reddish Orange. As soon as you add any green values it has orange in it, until it has more than 127.5, in which case it gets closer to yellow. For this case 73 is closer to 127.5 than 0. It's more closely related to Orange then Red. This is coming from someone with an Associates Degree in Computer Programming BTW.

Screens, often the same exact model, have different color calibrations from right out of the factory. Some screens may look more red while others may look more green by default, so all of them may have a point. I'm colorblind though.
