Hi Jennifer, I think that in Australia we have a product called mock cream which might be the closest to cool whip. It used to be commonly used for cakes and fillings but no longer. Fresh cream is used almost exclusively now much to my eldest son’s disappointment. He loved mock cream. One can make it oneself but I would have to find an old fashioned recipe to do it. Always look forward to your videos. Best wishes from Australia

Those pies look very delicious, thanks for you're video and all you talk about I love it all! We just got a dog and she is trying to fit into our family and they all love her. I am trying to get used to the hair everywhere though, but it's nice to have a dog here when the house is quiet and no one but I am here and the kids are gone to school. I agree 100% about how ones brain is wired and how you feel about such executive functioning tasks like cleaning and/or organizing. My entire house struggles with all of this and we really have to push each other to stay on top of things. Just like you said too, there's nothing wrong with that if you happen to fall into that group that struggles with it. It's totally normal. What you described in how you have to help the boys is exactly what I have to do with my two boys.

Can meats that you can catch on sale for things are going to get worse before it gets better.

Just use the Epsoms Salts, it is the same as Miracle Grow. It is also great for tomatoes and peppers. When I am planting them into the ground to start I put a tablespoon in the bottom of the hole them when they have been in the ground for a month or 6 weeks I will sprinkle a ring of it around them and water it in, I planted Delacata squash, Blue Hubbard, Acorn, Spaghetti and Butternut squash for the first time this year.

Good to see the jiggle-dance pattern because it is a bit different than using the weighted regulator on a Presto. Your garden looks great and it is nice to see you getting enough to be canning. When you were talking about cleaning the boys room my boys are the same way I usually have to clean or organize actually every once in awhile too. My daughter was just starting to do really well to clean her room too so maybe it's something to do with girls most of the time. I have to get the boys room to the point where they can understand a plan that they can make it work for them with organize drawers that have a picture and subjects of what is in it. Maybe with large ziplock bags since we have a bunch of 2 gallon bags and organize items in them inside their bins. We shall see how it goes? Does that sound like a good idea? Thanks, keep up the great work, and take care.

I can't get over the potato cost. I saw a 10-pound bag at Sam's Club the other day (of russets) for $6.67 and I nearly died. We have potatoes we grew; although we should cut back on using them. I used to always throw extra potatoes in things because they were so cheap. Our go to sale price that we used to purchase them was between $.14-$.20 per pound! Now we are seeing $.67-$2.00 a pound. It's time to cut back and use more pasta and rice. (We have them on hand. I hear rice is hard to get too.) Time to stock up especially on shelf stable food. I hope everyone is doing that. Such increases in prices only show that there are shortages and that is not good. Have a good day everyone. p.s. I should go collect my itty bitty potatoes in my shed and save them for seed potatoes for next year.
