Well you've gone and done it now. You wont be able to escape the graivitational effect these two phenomenal young singers create. Lucy has a treasure trove of musical covers of not only classic pop, but also contemporary pop but also old classic standards that all the Divas have recorded including Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and others. To hear these two perfom the best cover of a song ever recorded by a duet,, then go no further than Lucy and Marth's rendition of "The Prayer" Yes it sounds like a bit of a stretch when comparing them to Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion? but it will knock your socks off. Hello Reds, I see you support Liverpool why not they are great team. Lucy Thomas & her sister Martha are English they live not to far from Anfield a town called Wigan, Many say Lucy is the best singer in the world she has just a truly beautiful voice, she sings musical theatre type of music as well as any genre ie Country, Pop, Rock & she covers all the greatest covers from all the best female singers from the past to todays famous songs. Lucy Thomas is only 20 years old, she has her own music channel on her KZbin channel with over 1 million subscribers, this cover " Silent Night " has only been released 12 days ago & has over 940,000 views already on KZbin, She will be the leading lady in a new musical called " Rosie " which opens in 2025 in the West End London. Thank you for the fine reaction to Lucy and Martha Thomas. Lucy is the best singer in the world today at only 20 yers old. Martha is nearly six years younger and is rapidly becoming competition for Lucy. Together, there is no other duet anywhere near their singing, they are phenomenal! Many people regard 20 year old Lucy as having the most beautiful voice on the planet. Her 15 year old sister Martha also has a fabulous voice and together they are truly incredible. Please consider reacting to another fantastic Xmas duet by these 2 angels, "Mary Did You Know?"

Hello - Thanks for posting - Enjoyed! Congrats on finding the 2 angels from Wigan/UK. Martha had just celebrated her 15th birthday when releasing this. Lucy is 20 and IMO has developed into the best vocalist in the world - No Kidding - she is that good. Everything she sings will leave you shaking your head. Hope you will do some more.

⁠@@johncollins392The Prayer is not a Christmas song/carol. It was written by David Foster for Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli for the 1999 Grammys. Andrea Bocelli wasn’t able to make the rehearsal for the 1999 Grammys. Someone recommended a young singer called Josh Groban and he sang the song instead. This was the start of his career. Andrea Bocelli would sing it at The Grammys with Dion and it is that duo for which this song is remembered. Just a little side story.

Lucy always puts the song first & performs it as it was meant to be sung!,more Christmas songs from the girls, " The prayer" "Mary did you know"& "O holy night",also take a listen to Lucy's versions of "Unchained melody"& "One moment in time" for starters!,simply stunning!.Can't quite agree that Martha is the equal of Lucy,whilst Martha has a very fine voice,Lucy's is outstanding,world class in fact!,Martha at 15 is not intent on making a career out of singing whilst Lucy is!,she has been coached from the age of 7/8 years of age,she is now almost 21!,her cover of "Hallelujah" at the age of 16 has had over 50 million views on u- tube & a billion listenings on Tik Tok!,she has done 3 major concerts so far,the latest at the Theatre Royal where she received 9 standing ovations (the most ever recorded at that particular venue)& 5* reviews from the music press,sit back & enjoy!😊

Once again you are comparing completely different voices and there is also the age difference. For me, Martha is an equal in her own way. This becomes particularly clear in Silent Night. Martha brings a very pure, natural performance here and Lucy goes into falsetto, as she did with Pie Jesu and Mary dyn, which has something of an opera about it. It sounds great with certain songs, but I don't like it quite as much with Silent Night and I don't think Lucy would have done it that way two years ago. Lucy is of course world class but stop belittling Martha or even comparing her.

@@UHB-by4dk I agree with you 100% why dummys insist on comparing the 2 girls of different ages is beyond me........do they not understand Martha knows she is NOT at Lucy's stage of development, she never will be, the 5 years and 8 months difference in age will never be made up !!! why do you think it has been a year since Martha last recorded a song ???? she does NOT want to be compared to Lucy !!! Nothing is more discouraging than being compared and nothing they can do about it !!!! These people need to give Martha some slack and accept her for who she is and what she can do FOR HER AGE !!!

johncollins392 Do you not think Martha realizes she does not sing at the level of Lucy ???? that 5 years and 8 months age difference, and yes that was me that figured that out and used it, and so many have copied. Martha will NEVER make up the age difference between her and Lucy, Martha knows she does not sing to Lucy's level, and she does not have to be reminded of it every time they sing a duet by some self appointed know it all loud mouth, so give Martha some slack and encourage her, DO NOT remind her every song, Probably why its been a full year since her last recording. Girls at Marthas age are very sensitive about themselves, yes we raised 2 daughter about the same difference in age and we heard that all the time people insisted on comparing and it is not fair to Martha. Keep it up and you just may destroy her music career !!!! Geeeese you feel better discouraging a young girl ????
