Mixed sauce pasta AKA Pink sauce pasta is the perfect blend of white and red pasta sauces. The creaminess of the white sauce mixed with tangy red sauce gives you best of both these dishes. Hope you love this recipe, do let us know and Enjoy!!!

[INGREDIENTS]
To Boil the Pasta:
- 1 Tsp oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 Cup good quality Penne pasta
- Cold water
To make red sauce:
- 2 Medium sized boiled tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 Tsp crushed garlic
- 1 Medium sized finely chopped onion
- 1/2 Tsp red chilli powder
- 1 Tsp chilli flakes
- 1 Tsp crushed black pepper
- 1 Tsp oregano
- 1/4 Cup water
- 1 Tsp tomato ketchup
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 Tsp of my homemade beetroot food color (optional)
- 1 Medium sized diced capsicum
To make white sauce:
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp all purpose flour(maida)
- 1 Cup milk
- 2 Cheese slices
- Salt to taste

This is my go to pasta recipe ❤ The three improvisations that I do: 1. I use fresh cream instead of the cheese slices in the white sauce, just one or two tbsp are enough to make the pasta more creamy and delicious 2. add a teaspoon or two of sugar, as per taste, at the end which really enhances the flavour of the pasta, and gives a more creamy and savory flavour 3. add tomato ketchup a teaspoon or two more than what the recipe suggested. so the pasta becomes more flavorful. and this particular pink pasta is the best pink pasta I've ever tasted, creamy and full of flavours, ekdam restaurant standard❤

@@shilparawal8365 yes definitely! they are completely optional. Most of the time I don't have any of them in my fridge and I don't put them in my white sauce at all! cheese and cream don't alter the taste, it just makes it more creamy. so if you want to avoid cheeses or cream, then just heat the white sauce for a few mins longer to make it thick and creamy!
