Red X is a complete enigma, and that kind of character is so interesting because you don't know what they're capable of. We've seen enigmatic characters before everywhere in every series and comic where suddenly some guy comes out of nowhere to clutch up when the protagonists are losing and we don't know his motives nor his goal at the beginning. Later on we get to know who he is better and therefore he loses his mystery. We can be introduced to these characters in different ways, like stalking a main or secondary character or shown in scenes where no known character is present talking about it's all coming to plan or say something which is impossible to understand without context ( this happens a lot in anime, used this example because I'm currently re-watching Fairy Tail ) Like Thanos saying "Fine, I'll do it myself" in the mid credits of Age of Ultron. We don't know who he is ( unless you were already familiar with the comics by then ) Mystery is thrilling and exciting. We've seen so much of this in short doses but Red X is a more toned down but constant version of these mystery characters which is something new that I've seen and I love that they haven't revealed who he is in so many years.

I kind of hope they never reveal Red-X’s identity. I like him as a plot device that can always outsmart his opposition. If you’re gonna’ have him as a tool, might as well not make us wish to see his face. I always find myself rooting for him, even if it’s against Dick Grayson.

The only way revealing his identity would be okay is if it's after a lonnnnnnnnnng time and then it has to be someone you wouldn't expect but when you look back at old stories it would make sense in context to that person knowing various things, so you'd see him in the background or around in certain events. He's better off as anonymous though.

I would have accepted an impossible lie such as the tips of his fingers had been burned, and his blood was injected with some chemical that made any DNA analysis impossible and the mask was equipped with a magical properties that only allowed the wearer to remove it. He is in a fictional universe where he rubs shoulders with people the likes of Dr.Fate, Zatanna, Shazam, Constantine and so on... USE THAT TO MAKE THIS CAPTURE BELIEVABLE.

I was all question marks, like who? And he went to explain that he was one of the first DC vilians to exist. And pretty much shaped the history and of human kind. At first I was thinking Red X could be Damian seeing as how he gave up the Robin mantle, and his new outfit was red, black, and Grey. Said it many times myself. Red X's real identity should never be revealed. He doesn't need one. Part of the intrigue of his character is that he remains anonymous. Revealing his identity would ruin part of the magic. He can simply go by his moniker just fine. Bane is another example. Also, that red bolt of energy that came from X's mask causing the shortage in Belle Reve was probably a Zynothium powered discharge.

I really don't understand the Conner Kent character. When the new 52 began it really messed him up. First he was Lex and Clark's clone. Then the 52 happens and he's a clone of one of Clark's sons. Who is evil and terminally ill in that particular timeline. We don't even know if they are same character since no one before the new 52 remembers him. This is never more evident than the time Kara names him Kon El. Roughly translating to abomination in the house of EL. A name she gives him out of pure spite. Prior to the 52 they were on friendly terms. so wtf?
