Leffen is one of the best players to ever compete in the history of super smash bros., and for the past year he has been unable to compete in the U.S. because of a work Visa issue, preventing him from entering the United States. That is the impetus for these videos.

he's banned because us gov legislation (for short:melee isn't consider job/competitive sport atm). He was good with potential, he might be the next so called god of melee or just a trash talker but he is also called "God Slayer" of melee competitive series

The ban they are referring to in the video is because Leffen was a toxic asshole to tons and tons of people at tournaments. TOs in EU got together and decided to ban him, because he was making people not want to come to events anymore. That ban lasted for a year. The reason he can't come to events in the United States NOW, is for entirely different reasons. He is sponsored by an American esports company (Team SoloMid), but he is not a citizen of the United States. He lives in Sweden, which means he needs a work visa in order to come here and make money. He doesn't have a work visa, and came to the US anyway, where he was stopped by US Customs, and deported back to Sweden. All efforts to get Leffen's visa issues straightened out have ended in vain. The US considers smash to be his job, but they are unwilling to treat him as an international athlete, because smash is not "a legitimate sport".
