I know that sound... Eww, I know how much it cost to hear the ka-thunk of a bad driveline angle about to grenading your driveshaft into your floorboard! I built a pro-rock crawler and the only thing I didn't do myself was to let a shop suspend my brand new 35 spline Dana 60 rear with ARB locker at what was *supposed to be at exactly 16.5° for a triangulated & captured/fixed drive angle!* and the shop owner went and welded the 3 link mounting plate to the bracket at *13° to 15°!* It stuffed the transfer case, wore out the pilot bushing in the crankshaft, and damn near punched a hole through the floorboard of my Jeep when it sheared off at the double CV flange mount to the transferase! I could've saved this man's dream if I were on that mechanic team, it's a damn travesty to witness an idiot mechanic guess on a captured drive angle which these trucks run as well! The geometry is exact and the axle does not roll on its axis like a truck suspended by leaf springs! Boy this really takes me back to an upsetting moment, an emotional video for me and it's great video to document a BAD MECHANIC'S inadequacies! 😠👍🏼 The dude could have won!

Aint1S - Thats making quite an assumption.. the guys who build these trucks are not amateurs. We're talking about 40" or larger tires and 700+HP here, that's a lot of stress on the drivetrain. 4-link calculators are not that hard to figure out, and neither is cycling your suspension to check for these issues before hitting the trail.
