To say the least, this may be the perfect indoor monster truck from what I’ve seen so far, I haven’t gotten one yet, but I am soon, and as soon as some basic bodies come out, I’m gonna make a few of those. The rear steer option is also awesome, should make it really fun. Nice job Redcat!

I love me some Redcat but yall gotta make a much bigger version of this. 1/7 scale minimum. Bigger than the LMT and smaller than a Raminator. Vigilante size would be perfect. You really wanna steal our hearts give it metal axles and keep it 4ws optional for $1000-$1200.

Redcat your doing it awesome job keep it up my very first truck was a redcat Dukono an then the kaiju an that was the best truck ever but the MT 18 I would love to try please send me one I give it a try thank you redcat racing for making our hobby even better

If i had to make a guess, I'd say the Ascent18 provided a basic blueprint for the MT-18. Chassis is definitely different but it uses the same layout as the Ascent18, and it's using its shocks. One thing i am happy to see is that it doesn't use the portal axles of the ascent18! They're not bad i just like straight axles. Edit: I take back what I said about the same chassis layout everything is more upfront rather then how the ascent18 is setup.

They're open but lockers are available.

@boduke9428 on the website they have them displayed in exploded view. They're locked. No mention of them being open spools. So careful what info you're putting out there.
