Great video, thank you so much for making this. After seeing the video I also ordered one but I'm not having the same luck. I was able to program the key so that it unlocks, locks, and opens the trunk but the panic alarm doesn't work. Also I then tried programming the key with my 2 OEM keys like your video but when I put the switchblade key in it is not able to start the car and it just flashes the red lock symbol. Please help! I have a 2011 Mustang GT.

Albert Joe I would contact the seller, could be a bad fob. There has been some reports of bad key fobs, hear they are pretty good at sending a replacement

i took it to ford and the only way they could fit it was to take it apart and the guy couldnt figure out how to put it back together lmao. so i had to do it. took me less than 2 minutes. and i wasnt the one that took it apart lol

Do you think that works with the Boss 302 since I have a regular key which is black and white and my trackey whick is black and red. The black and red key is for the track use which changes over 200 geometry to the engine. Throttle, fuel management etc etc..

Its the factory unit. My car is a premium with nav. To do the factory nav swap the dash needs to come out and the whole dash harness needs to be replaced for it work. Not worth the time and money imo

Hii chris I previously purchased the key and programmed it. And it now starts and locks and unlocks but when I lock it on the second lock I doesn't honk. It also takes 3 clicks for the trunk to open have you had similar problems?

I have not. I have heard of these issues though. Could be the board inside the fob that is bad. Try reprogramming it and or pressing the buttons firmly

Chris Roy so I ordered the flip key from ebay exactly like the one you have and I have my oem key just one and than I have a spare key but with without the unlock and lock feature. I was able to program the new flip key to unlock and lock and open truck and the panic button as well but haven't been able to start the car. Any suggestions?

3.7mustang2011 have to have 2 oem keys in order for the start function. You need 2 oem keys to do it because if you only had one it would be very easy for someone to duplicate and steal your car lol

3.7mustang2011 I'm sure they can program it for a big price. Worst case is you would have to buy an oem key and have them program it. But as of right now your car still has 2 oem keys programmed to it whether or not you have both keys.

What chip does this key use? I ordered one with a KF2 chip 63 @315 MHz . And it’ll lock just not start the car. I have two keys that I’m presuming are the oem programmed ones considering they both start the car. One has S and the other says SA engraved on it. Does that matter? Thanks to anyone who can help. you can have 3 programmed keys to start the car, you can have more than 3 to unlock the car. maybe one of your original keys is not oem or was not programmed by ford. not sure what chip the key uses
