Redcurrant jam

In this very red video, I share with you my best recipe, my famous redcurrant jam. It takes forever to collect and clean the currants from their stem, but it is well worth it because it is one of the most delicious jams ever. We love it in pancakes, Christmas Linzer and Gerbeaud Cake. You can find the link to these recipes below.
We have a huge walnut tree next to our mountain house that protects the currant bushes from... well, everything :D That is why the harvest is very rich every year. I used to collect redcurrants for days and still the birds and the deer get plenty of it too. I always give from them to my friends as a gift as well. This is why you can see that I made the jam from fewer berries than I harvested. And what else is made of these amazing fruits? Of course, delicious redcurrant wine.
