My favorite area of the game has to be Roanoke Ridge. Aside from the beautiful scenery and nature and allat, its creepy as hell; it's got a lot of personality. Not to mention the fact that 90% of Chapter 6 (the most meaningful chapter, when looking from the perspective of Arthur's evolution) takes place right in Roanoke Ridge, with Beaver Hollow being one of the most "impactful" camps. The fact that Van Horn, Butcher Creek and Beaver Hollow are perfect areas to start shootouts without gettig wanted also adds to the action; Roanoke Ridge is just full of stuff to do aside from hunting and exploring cities (which it may be true, Annesburg and Van Horn might be very scarce in activities when compared to cities like Valentine or Rhodes). I love it. Too mysterious and cool to say no to it.

new austin is for some reason my favorite area of the map, maybe it’s cause of red dead 1 nostalgia (for some reason i was allowed to play it in elementary school, but couldn’t play 2 until sixth grade, i’m in highschool now) I also think new austin is very peaceful.

It doesn’t look as realistic in rdr2 as it did in 1 weirdly enough. New Austin has that rugged western look in the first game but in the second they brought the vibrancy and color of new Hanover into NA and it completely ruined the region for me. In the first game it’s still god tier

I think Cumberland forest only exists to provide the player with hunting grounds in chapter 2. Like, the woods that Horseshoe overlook are in have NO game at all other than the occasional rabbit

When you can, please do every rdr2 mission ranked, 100 (fake) bucks says that American Venom, Red Dead Redemption, and Blood Feuds Ancient and Modern are in the top 10 or 5, but then again, I’m probably just saying that because a tier list and top 20 list I looked at put those as the top 3 best missions. You can save stranger missions for another video if you want.

I love new austin its one of my favorite states in the game and its not because of rdr1 i played rdr2 before rdr1 i just like it its got some of the best gang hideouts and i also like armadillo because you can just kill the whole town and the law wont show up
