Always a treat to see your podcast pop up on my notifications. Thanks for a great hour spent while I did my walk/run this Sunday morning. Your physician’s statement about no where else to go but meds resonated with me as I eat very clean and exercise 6 days a week, regulate my water intake daily bladder, blah, blah. Going to look into some needed supplements, thanks for the wisdom. I’m also going to go find my baby grand I purchased and start a baby blanket for my granddaughter due in May! My first grand and I am so excited for her arrival. Thanks for the time together 💕

Thanks ladies. Love that you’re all over the place. Thats how I am so it’s comforting to know I’m not alone. Interestingly from day one going to school I could not walk to or home from school the same way, everyday. I had to alternate my way and change up my path even from going to school and home on the same day. Even if it was just walking on the opposite side of the block, crossing at a different spot, cutting a corner, going through alleyways. Whatever, I had to do, to make it not boring. Plus, it drove me insane that anyone could do that every single day like my brother, cousins, and neighbors did. I liked meeting the different kids I’d meet by going alternate routes. I knew everyone and everyone knew me. I know, I have issues. lol 😂🎉❤😅. Love the necklace from KG.

I read the Johnstown Flood years ago, it's fantastic!!! I remembered the story from grade school, so when I saw the book I jumped on it. That is a tragic story and it's impressive how many photos they have of the town before, during and after the flood, and eye witness accounts too. Awesome Book!!!!

I’m a loose knitter and do socks on a size 0, and they really aren’t that much different than a size 1 or 2. It’s just a number😅. And I knit a DK sock on a size 2 at a 28 stitch gauge. I agree on the issue of feeling the stitches on your feet but I discovered a tighter gauge for DK made all the difference. If the gauge was looser it opened up when worn and that’s when I felt it. Just something to think about if you want to knit a DK sock.😊

Twenty or so (!) years ago the knitting community to me involved my typepad blog and lots of supportive knitters, online as well as in person back when I lived in NYC, I hate to say this but social media has made the craft more competitive. And for what!!? Love your podcasts and hella funny as usual.

Great vlog. Also, did you know that knitting is very similar to EMDR which is used for PTSD. The act of going back-and-forth with your hands/eyes and focusing can have a similar effect. Quite interesting. I need to find a massage therapist for my ankle/foot injury. Not much available here in Vermont. We seem to get the last cookies in the jar, which is not a good thing when it comes to physical therapy and the like. 😳

alkaline water is such a ridiculous thing - your stomach acid will automatically neutralize it anyways, and your body is very good at regulating its pH because if it goes outside a very narrow range, you would be in bad shape! Also the mothballs 🤣

Gina, walking is good for the body, but to "meditate" for calming your mind, listen to an audio book at a little higher volume and 1.25 or 1.5 speed. It has helped me a lot, when you are walking. Shut out everything. just listen to the book and enjoy nature

my mom has paranoid schizophrenia so I can relate.. And I agree with you about living together if you can and are lucky enough! because why not, it only makes sense and a lot of cultures agree but my husband does not feel that way at all and anyway my kid wouldn't want to live with us since they don't get along much when together anyway for too long. Also sounds like my feet are going to be skeletal since they already have no padding. eeks. also already have cervical and lumbar arthritis along with DDD most likely from malnutrition as a child but menopause is going to be awful i'm thinking for me when it gets here i'm going to have to take those hormones you mentioned since you lose estrogen and without estrogen your bones deteriorate.
