Moved to Omaha two years ago. regret is an understatement. Omaha sucks !!! People are a holes, property taxes are ridiculous. Houses are built with cheap. cheap materials, roads are terrible !!!! Ready to move back to Kansas City.

I feel like people are wearing rose colored glasses when they talk about house prices here. Not only are property taxes ridiculously high, but houses here are made with very cheap materials that don't justify the price. A lot of times 60% of the home price is its location.

Some people are just whiner's no matter what. I've lived in Omaha my whole life and still haven't found a reason to leave. Its not a entertainment city i agree but our economy is stable here, people are down to earth here and yeah its easy to get around.
