For those who dont know why everyone is talking about illuminaughty (I'm going to call her by her real name, Blair) . Its because Lexi shouted out her channel at around the 25:30 point of the video. Keep in mind that Lexi shouted her out BEFORE her controversies came out. She was a youtuber who made commentary videos, except a lot of the videos she made were plagiarized and sometimes poorly researched. The main reason her controversies became so well known and talked about is because she falsely accused Legal Eagle of stealing her editing style, even though that particular editing style has been around for almost a decade and everyone uses it. Here are some (not all) of the crappy things she did: She used to be on a KZbin channel with Tommy C and left it because someone made a fat joke at someone else's expense. She got offended on their behalf, quit, and deleted any and all videos on the channel that included her (which was a majority of the videos at the time). She didnt even talk to anyone about this decision and made it so the other people on the channels's hard work was deleted because she overreacted. They could have edited her out but she chose to be spiteful She used to work with TheClick and Onetopic and falsely accused theclick of hosting creeps who like children in his discord server. A creep got into his server and said gross things, then got banned. Illuminaughty claimed that the fact the creep got into his server to begin with was a sign that he supports those kinds of people. She made a big stink about it even though the situation was handled. The reason why she claimed it was a big deal was because it took a few hours to ban the creep and theclick (the owner of the server) didnt handle it personally. The reason why theclick didnt react / respond right away was because he was asleep. It was 2 AM for him. Blair said that being asleep isn't an excuse, and theclick is just as bad as the creep for not reacting right away -One of her former classmates came out and began talking about some horrific bullying she was put through by Blair. Blair confirmed that everything that was said was true and publicly apologized to that person and gave them 1500 USD to "bury the hatchet". Imo this was an attempt at a bribe to get the victim to stop talking -Falsely accused RSlash of using bots to get engagement on his channel -Blair sent artists to copyright strike peoples channels for using the artists art without their permission, then got mad when the artists didnt mind people using their art. -Made alternate accounts to harass theclick, hired someone to find dirt on him

Part two because KZbin won't let me edit my comment anymore: Blair made her editor Wonderstruck guy move in with her temporarily because he was struggling financially. He was working as her editor at the time and they grew close. One day she decided she wanted him to move out. She told the police that wonderstruck guy was dangerous because of his mental health issues (depression, anxiety, ptsd from being mistreated as a child) and got Wonderstruck guy kicked out of the house. This left him homeless, jobless (he was working as her editor), and without a car to travel back home to / live in. Then she started telling everyone about his mental health struggles, even going as far as to talk about a sewer slide note he wrote -Her now ex boyfriend, Oz media, spoke up and confirmed a whole bunch of allegations made against her / brought up more evidence and in response she served him with a cease and desist to stop making videos about her. Then sued him for defamation when he continued making videos talking about the awful things she has done. Blair is doing everything she can to drag out the lawsuit against him so the legal fees eat him alive and drive him bankrupt -Blair has been accused of having CP on discord (I haven't done enough research to confirm if this is true so this part is just alleged) -Made a whole video calling onetopic ableist because he said the R word in a video 12 years ago (WHEN HE WAS A YOUNG TEEN STILL LEARNING ENGLISH) meanwhile she made a tweet using that same word 6 years ago. Onetopic has sense explained himself and apologized, while Blair has not

Plus, if the second biological parent has abandoned the child/children, you can usually get their parental status terminated, bypassing the need for their consent in the adoption process. And as you said, both Phineas & Candace's bio dad as well as Ferb's bio mom seem very much so out of the picture, so even if they're not dead, it'd likely be fairly easy for Lawrence to do this.
