Thanks! No, sorry I don't offer follow alongs because honestly I think follow alongs lead to people not being intentional with their training or doing moves fully based on what they need. I love making sure everything is designed with purpose for clients and they can focus on those recruitment patterns. This is great; I’ve been wanting to do perfect pushups but give up too easily. I have a bucket list and this one is on that list. In the past I had been doing pushups the inch worm way and now I’m able to straighten my back, but still unable to pushup the correct way. Now that I see the correct format, I am going to start this for 30 days. Again thanks for the great explanation.

These 4 skills are things I would put into 4 workouts as a weekly schedule to repeat. But you want all 4 as they address missing things in each other. So one workout may have eccentric, then the next bottoms up, then later that week cluster sets and then finally holds on that last workout. Strength to weight ratio can impact things but often smaller people also have less muscle. The more we practice though, the more we can improve our form and get more efficient!

When to do isometric movements. Before or after workout?
@redefiningstrengthOC3 ай бұрын
I may use the holds as part of an activation series in warm up or even during an actual workout as a full isometric circuit. I even sometimes include them with reps for density intervals soooo lots of different ways. But the way I mention here is more as part of the warm up or even the full workout being more "recovery" isos.
