Cori. You are super strong. That kettlebell looks like 40-50 lbs. You toss it around like it’s nothing. I can do a twenty for my glute bridges. And ten for my side plank lifts. I will increase weight. Soon. Thanks for more ways to challenge myself and stay healthy.

Competition kettlebells are all the same size regardless of weight. And this one is light for me to demo. But the key is mastering moves to use the right amount of force no matter the weight you use. Just focus on your goals and progressing based on your needs!

Looks great but physiotherapists, doctors and sports trainers don't recommend kettle bells for training. They can do some real long term damage to joints and short term damage to muscles.
@redefiningstrengthOC4 жыл бұрын
This is a joke right? Because while any move is dangerous if done with improper form there is NOTHING linking KETTLEBELLS specifically to an increased risk of injury. If anything kettlebell moves can often be used to PREVENT injury. Please share your studies proving that all of these people believe it causes injuries. Because Dr. Stuart McGill even thinks that they can have applications to help prevent and rehab lower back injuries - www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21997449

How heavy is this kettlebell?
@powskier4 жыл бұрын
Light. You would have to be really dumb to think they were 32 kg bells even though they are the same size as one. These are fake kettlebells that are hollow on the inside to make you look impressive even though they weigh 29 pounds at most.
@el_Pablo_Uno4 жыл бұрын
@@powskier I know that and that was exactly my point. I have some experience with kettlebells and I would guess these were like 8 - 12 kg max. I mean, the workout still looks really good and solid - as a cardio, but the kettlebell is so fake.
@redefiningstrengthOC4 жыл бұрын
Clearly you both have never competed in kettlebell sport. These are the kettlebells I use at my gym with my clients because all kbs should be the same size, especially if you train for competition. I'm honestly amazed at how uneducated people are on kbs but then how rude they are. haha Competition kettlebells are ALL the same size for a reason. You can't move up in training if you have to adjust to a new size kettlebell each time. So regardless of weight they are the same size. And they are all painted a specific color even based on weight. So all pink competition bells are the same up to reds. :-)
@el_Pablo_Uno4 жыл бұрын
@@redefiningstrengthOC Wow, chill out. What was so rude about what I said? I only said the kettlebells are fake meaning their weight is not proportional to their size. I didn't say anything negative about you or this workout, I even said it looks really good but I see you can get trigger over anything. Jesus, have some reserve, you don't even know anything about me and you call me rude.

Given how small the kettlebells I can lift are, I goggle every time I see you swinging those tea-for-twenty kettles around.
@redefiningstrengthOC4 жыл бұрын
Competition kettlebells are all the same weight. I went over the whole reason behind that I think in another comment on this video? But it is basically because when you actually compete you want the size to be consistent as you improve your lifts!

Ummmm. Yeah. So, I've been working out with kettlebells for well over a year now and I have made great strides with my form, strength and conditioning. I started out with a single 35 kb and over time to using two 35 kb to two 45 pounders. I am now use a single 50 pounder and hoping to get to two soon. Here's the thing: I'm 6"1' and weigh 205. I'm not a small guy and I LOOK like I'm working hard when I use my KBs. Those pink KBs your using look like they are at least 50 pounders and you're throwing them around like they're made of plastic. What gives???? What do they weigh? Cause something's not jiving with me. Either I'm a weak puke or you have the strength of a silverback gorilla. 🤷♂️🤦♂️
@redefiningstrengthOC4 жыл бұрын
bahaha all competition kettlebells are the same size regardless of weight so that as you build your lifts you don't have to adjust to a new shape or size. It would be annoying to compete in Long Cycle and have to adjust each time you increased your strength! And these also happen to be light for me to use which is why I make them look super light. ;-)
@Rob954ever4 жыл бұрын
Ahhhhhh. Ok. That would explain it. Thank you for taking the time to answer and please excuse my ignorance.
