Yeah I agree. I like that it wasn't overly cutesy, sexual, or some fantasy concept. Just average young teen vibes, even though I'm 21 now(😭) I *love* the concept. And so far they haven't technically debuted yet, they were supposed to debut in 2019 *before* Le Serafim but it got pushed back cause covid. Their debut song I think is called Cookie and hasn't come out.

Pretty sure it was the Plus Global Auditions for this group that was held in 2019 (where member Minji was the model for posters and some videos)! They said they were going to debut in 2021 but it got postponed due to the pandemic. The audition was also in 01-07 age range so there’s theory about Hyein being added later on (after the debut got postponed to 2022 due to some reasons). Love the music so far!!

Yes The CEO used to work for SM Entertainment so having a female CEO who has a lot of experience in KPOP industry is a winner for Hybe bc they haven’t had a favorable success rate with girl groups. But I love the concept and what they are doing so far with New Jeans. A real winner in the pre-debut songs they’ve dropped so far. Actual debut will be 8/1/22!!! Ages of girls 14-18. Two of the members were in BTS’s PTD MV.

the kside are loving them...they are the fastest 4th gen gg for their albums to reach 100,000 sales its been 1 day and 11 hours since their preorder opened their literally monster rookies... also not tryna be shady but i am, this and (le sserafims debut) is the first 4th gen gg song that actually feels like music and not just some loud over the top noise...like im so HAPPY hybe took different routes with their girl groups both are such a breath of fresh air but NewJeans in particular definitely have all my attention from the mv's, to the music, to their voices, and how all the members have the perfect energy with each other this literally feels like THEE perfect girl group im so excited for more from them!!!

NewJeans debut EP "New Jeans" will drop digitally on August 1, physical August 8. The EP has 4 songs of which only "Hurt" is a b side. All other songs, "Attention", "Hype Boy" (the one with 4 MV versions), and "Cookie" are officially title tracks. EDIT: NewJeans is from the HYBE label ADOR, Le Sserafim from the label Source Music, and the I-Land 2 girl group (production delayed) would be from Belift Lab. The clear status of the girl groups in cooperation with the Japanese LDH and in the US with UMG/Geffen is unknown so far.

Hybe Japan will be debuting the first Japanese boy group. The show is called AND AUDIENCE THE HOWLING. ITS IN THE 3 EPOIDSE.

We already had 2 episodes. It's supposed to be 8 episodes. This is assumed to be this year's debut. This or next year might be BigHit Music's alleged male trainee group "Trainee A", and in 2023 the Pledis Entertainment's boy group for which they are officially auditioning for the last member in South Korea & Japan these months. The KOZ Entertainment boy group is only known (and once seen in a Zico behind the scene video) to train for their debut with no date or specific members known. Any other group info is in the realm of business analyst assumptions/predictions.
