Actually I think the story could work if there was some sort of employee, like the son of the CEO, who had a vendetta against the company/the idea of magical girls, so they purposely sabotage their work and run off. Then the company follows through with their original plans in order to stop what the employee had created.

For Yu, I would say that the "whatever magical girl facility" lets Yu join the magical girl organization because they test out other girls to see if they're fit to become a magical girl or not. For Yu i would say that once she gets tested, her results come back really high for someone her age, Yu while a child is weaker than the more older magical girls, compare Yu's results to the average results of girls around her age, you'll see a huge difference. This is just my idea and since this video mentions sketchy work practices I want to place my own take how the facility is going to let Yu join an organization in a way thats reminiscent of a military.

I keep rewatching this. There’s something super therapeutic about watching someone redesign their old characters, especially since it’s something I’m in the process in. I’ve always heard people say make sure your characters have unique silhouettes so many times and never really got it until the first time I watched this and decided to try and work with silhouettes alone. Rewatching the inspiration for my own Magical Girl story (So, your Prism vids lol) and now I wanna go back to writing that story The story is called "Momento Mori" and is based around themes of time and death Still not sure where to take the story, but I do know the themes/designs for the heros and 2 of the villains (and that the main villain will have a very silly goofy personality because I think that'll contrast nicely with him being a literal 20ft tall skeleton that may or may not control the concept of death)
