The Honda one is my favourite of the bunch, it looks classy! i love it on the shirts and jumpsuits makes me think of the sort of late 60-70's Ford V Ferrari esthetic , I feel like it could work as a logo on a watch face too if Honda did a special edition collaboration , It has that industrial/mechanical look to it.

@@KelLauren Well you do have the sort of future tech thing going on for Nissan, and keeping in the style of accessories and typical "Swag bag" kind of things it is kind of like Gillette to me, so that could be stamped on an electric razor with it having a similar logo to Conair. The Ford one I'm not too sure, i personally would thin it out and then it might go well with like an "Old Spice x Ford" soap. That's the best I've got! haha

This was a really awesome video! The logos were really cool and I loved how they turned out! A few thoughts I had: - Ford actually had an experimental modernized logo in the 60s that seemingly followed some of the same trains of thought as you, although they were applied differently. - Honda still uses the wing, but only on its bikes. Weirdly enough, they don't use it on their planes. Also, the Honda logo you came up with is like the controlled tyre skid of a racing car pulling out of a lot (this is a good thing)! - That two founders thing is something Hyundai's logo actually uses. Apparently, that italicized H is supposed to also represent two people shaking hands! - Nothing to say about the Nissan logo really, other than it looks great!

Good sh!t. Car guy and illustrator/mediocre designer here. I've stumbled across your videos here and there and I enjoy these exercises you share with us. It's always nice to see different renditions of designs already created (logos, soda labels, etc.) and get a different perspective of things. Something I've noticed (and I don't know if you've done this intentionally) but a lot of your work really reminds me of this sort of "mystery machine/groovy" sort of vibe. Again, not sure if this is intentional, but maybe it might a be a fun style for you to explore more with? Personal favorite is the ford logo, I've always really loved that calligraphic/script "F" and secretly have always hoped that Ford would capitalize on that again one day, as it's arguably iconic ofcourse. So thanks for kinda of checking off that box for me :) Keep on keepin on'!

The car is hers." for someone who uses they/them pronouns would become "they went to the store with their mom. The car is theirs." Usually people who use they/them pronouns are non-binary (don't identify with being male or female), but not necessarily! :)

i love this. a small critique is just that the type at little moments feels off balance. this happens on the middle of the two S forms in nissan, and in the small f and beefy D of ford. Type design takes a ton of type to get really right even for peoplewho just do that, but those are some thoughts. Cheers! great stuff.
