Redesigning Sisyphus

An updated version of my Sisyphus LEGO kinetic sculpture, featuring the Greek mythological figure endlessly pushing his boulder. In this video I discuss some of the changes I made to the model and why I made them.

I just finished rebuilding your redesigned Sisuphus MOC. It looks and functions even better than the original version ! I also added some headwear for the minifigs : Zeus has a long beard (6132) , Sisyphus on chariot has a 'Rohan' helmet (10054) and Thanatos has spiky devilish hair (62699). This is so cool! He would take the *wait of the world* to push it up but he is a *child of man!* He would *come forth* and climb the mountain like a legend. If doing boring things were fun he *wouldn't regret a second of it* at all. Either way there is only *futile struggle* and if he could his life would *begone* and he would die. Only Sisyphus would be imagined to be happy.

Believe I may of seen a contraption like this in operation when I bumped into you at Brickvention 2017 in Melbourne Australia! Though a real challenge could be to try engineering a system that allows a cube unit structure to move through a 3D grid of rails and to be able to go anywhere within the grid! It’s possibly something that’s almost impossible but may be possible with a well engineered mechanism! :)
