We had an svs back when they first came out, and I think 4 players took our ac with each march mixed with both generals, Freya leading each march fully ascended, and we bounced off of them with a 50B power rally. It was nuts

I'm liking Idunn paired with Dmitry as a Secondary Archer march that specializes in reinforcing or defending buildings. Even without Ascending her those buffs are pretty impressive after getting her specialties done!

The timing of this video was perfect. I got Idunn yesterday. The only issue I have with Idunn is that it'll take over a year to ascend her because she is so rare.... but she is still powerful.

I have been using her as a backup to Scipio. The outside the main city dont stack when attacking but the rest does. When I'm holding everything stacks. At keep 34 ground research maxed with gear. I'm at 900 attack, 800 defense and 750 hp. When attacking

They are a great addition to a well-rounded players account. Someone in SVS/Battlefield defending will be hard to beat. Especially if they use them to lead for the whole alliance.

Great video AKA as always very instructive. On another note. Can you talk about this new march and the fact that it is one more stroke to cancel ghosting. As one has to tap on eye then botom appears then cancel then accept ....boy I got tired just writing it.... =/ or maybe i am doing it wrong. thanks in advance

I'd really love it if someone would math out how a general does as an assistant, fully specialized but not ascended at all. Those full Ascension numbers don't mean much to most free players or moderate coiners.

Raimondo seems to be a better alternative.. Siege ATK is in play and his main skill isn't attack oriented so It looks like he functions in a remote defense situation. Thank you very much 😊🙏 Yeah, Mu cannot take the siege attack book, but she is still quite strong even without it. I can't remember right now if she is stronger than Raimondo, though. 🤔 As for using Idunn with either of them, that's an interesting idea. would mean you'd need a significant number of siege in your march though

I believe the developers had to do this to try and even out the competition. Will a couple of MEGA-Generals do the trick? Maybe yes and maybe no. As you stated, it will take great efforts to attain higher status, as with most Generals. Luckily, their base stats far exceed the competition.

Idunn and Dmitri are also a good combination. Both are generals for reinforcements. Suchet works, Pyrrhus, Gnarr, Poligenus, Tomyris.

What's nice is making the effort to get *Freyja* means just _possessing_ her gets you a double drop rate of the Blue Crystals so when the event happens/happened again you can easily get multiple copies of *Idunn* and get her Ascended at least one level after the 2 or 3 day Event. I'm using *Idunn* to reinforce one of my weak players overnight because our server has developed an annoyingShark who likes to pick on people then rebubble... wait 5 or 6 hours and repeat. I'm hoping to give him a nasty welcoming surprise one day... *Freyja* is compatible with *Forkbeard* , *Elise* , *Soult* , *Suchet* , *Ludwig* , *Turenne* and one of my new favourite Ground Generals, *Frigg* . She is NOT compatible with *Pyrrhus* or *Trajan*

@@blujustin4175 I've been using Queen B and Isaac Brock now for 2 months and they work well together at my end with my setup as a combo keep (both T1, T2, T3 ; 1 M layers and 2 M T13. Had some K43 attacked me and they lost. I'm happy with that since I'm a small keep. Experimenting with % gear too, removed all my flat refine gear with %. After a month and 10 Battlefields, i cannot see any difference to be honest.

Defense en dehors de la cité (donc pas sur le mur). Elle est parfaite pour défendre un bâtiment sur un champ de bataille par exemple. C’est sa limite (l’investissement pour la travailler vaut-il le coup ou non pour toi).

I use them both. Idunn with Edward III and Freyja with Soult. But I believe Evony will need to launch some generals with “in-rally” superpowers, to counterbalance the defensive bias of those. Otherwise, when most of players get Freyja and Idunn, attacking a reinforced keep will be very hard

I'm f2p but somehow I got Idunn a while ago. I see her as the perfect reinforcing general paired with a free general like Wei Qing or Sulieman. When defending outside the keep sounds like reins to me. Let us know what you find out. Really enjoy your vids, I don't coin but I do math. 😀

If your team is serious in battlefield and SVS then you need 2 mix marches Arch/siege & Cav/ground for Rein or in buildings, throne, temples etc. Been using Mason Weaver with maxed out Kong & Septimus but now I see Idunn works with Mason and we can get copies of her over time not Mason unless they bring back Kong events which I doubt they only like to dream up random new stuff to constantly add to the game

Both this ladies are defending generals, what is obvious, but in my opinion they're the most valuable, when they're reinforcing, especially in Battlefield or during svs. The last big upgrading, including T16, changed a lot in strategy, now, even having 20B power in keep your'e not safe against big rallies (50M troops or so), but reinforcement changes a lot during defence. I think, this is Evony answer to giant rallies. Attack and defence are both sites the same coin

I had the same problem one time. The way to get him back is to tap on the mysterious puzzles at the bottom screen when your in your keep. You'll see his icon chillin off to the right. Uncheck the box and he'll be back outside. 👍

Idunn seems to be ftp general. Didn't seen the blue crystals in the packs, only gold coins for Freya. So fully ascending takes time, if you can get 2 copies every time event rolls around

Generals and its assistant are fine but what about gears on such reinforcing generals? Each gear again needs to be hand picked to suit the buffs during defense or reinforcements, so most of the gears need to have universal buffs.

Hey 🙂👋 This response might be a bit late, but if you are thinking of coming back to the game, then that’s cool 😇👍 HOWEVER, I must warn you that the game has become more Pay-to-Play that it has ever been. The gap between the big coiners and regular folks has widened tremendously. So if you do return, come back with a casual mindset. Don’t take things too seriously, don’t spend too much and just enjoy yourself. That’s the best way. The game can still be fun and enjoyable 😇😇
