Just ordered mine, if you watch the Diablosport video on the bypass cable it states the buss is located directly behind the OBD2 port. Not sure whats going on there. Looking forward to getting mine. Did you turn your MDS off?

Willl have to admit the Diablo Tuner did a nice job of waking up my 2006 GXP everything runs about 15 degrees cooler also wich is a big plus for the Trans. temps. and DOD disabler is a must.. for GM its just plug in, tune, save and go..unfortunate the Dodge boys made it such a PITA with all the PCM malarky :( my brother has 2014 Jeep GC SRT 6.4 and is nervous about trying a tuner just for all the hassles with the PCM

Nice vid bro!!! So I immediately checked out what’s available for the 5.7. I have an F8 Green 2019 Challenger R/T for starters. I checked out the “MODIFIED PCM & TRINITY 2 COMBO 2019 5.7L/6.4L CHALLENGER PKITCHALV819-T2” and it’s the best tune on the market, only $1040 on sale at the moment! Running the 93 octane tune, I’d get a 15HP/20TQ boost. Worth it... that would put me at 390HP/430TQ (yeah yeah, should have gotten the 392 or Hellcat/Redeye). But then I see it’s illegal to install on a registered street vehicle? Who would know I had a tune?

Depends on the dealer and some cars throw a hidden code others don’t. It’s definitely better than messing with the stock pcm

The problem is the pcms should both have the same mileage recorded in them. That's how the the dealer catches pcm swaps.. The mileage won't match because the new pcm started recording the day it was installed. At least that's how the gm at the local fiat dealership explained it and they check every Hellcat Demon and redeye for the mileage discrepancy. 😣

So from what I've been told by diablo, our 392s won't get nearly as much power from just swapping pcms and a tune. However, it sets you up for future modifications. I have a 15 charger SRT and the cost of pcm and tune isn't worth the gains on a stock car.

I think the way you have your redeye configured is the most aesthetically pleasing dodge challenger I've ever seen. Kinda stealth, but it looks so God damn hardcore. I'm not sure I fully understand the need to completely rework what is an already overly powerful car, but I give you props for all the research and tweaking you're doing. You don't seem to not have a clue as to what you're doing 😆! I'd be too worried to rock the boat financially speaking, HAHA! Guess that's why I do not have one.. That and I'm married to a woman who could not possibly understand or tolerate it. I'm grateful for what I got though, and I'm gonna sub because you actually look to be having a good time with this, and your enthusiasm is palpable. The supercharger on the redeye isn’t very loud due to the fact it’s a closed box. You can hear it very loud from the front of the car. The exhaust definitely drowns it out more. The reason why Hellcat are so loud is because there are wide-open filters in the engine bay.

You must be a teenager. When your manufacturer says you have 797 horse power that means to the crank once it goes threw the drive systems you loose horsepower so that 710 is how much power is made to the wheels not the crank.

That redeye doesn't do 797 on the dyno who ever told you that lied to your face because they dont know what their talking about. It says that on the infotainment screen it's programmed to say that because at the crank it makes 797 hp not to the wheels so when he says it makes 710 hp and his makes 730 hp that's to the wheels not to the crank. You loose hp as it runs threw the transmission the driveshaft the rear axle then distributed to the wheels thats how much hp most people refer to that's the numbers you see on the dyno. When the car manufacturers make their commercials they use the crank hp be sure that's what they built the engine to make that's not what the car puts down.

Hellcats are heavy and are poor performers on corners. Really stickin your neck out if you spin the tires at speeds over which you can safely spin the car off the road while missing fixed objects like trees, large boulders, other cars etc. If you need convincing take the car to a real race track and see if it handles. Guess Not.
