I think Redfall needs a relaunch.. all they need to do is add massive dlc and a trailer. Add some cutscenes for the trailer to look cool show us all the content and maybe add new kill animations. Regardless i think redfall is great with friends or solo .

I think this game works way better now. They nailed the atmosphere, the vampires are great, the gameplay loop is decent. The 60FPS and the improved control settings improved the game also massively. I really had trouble hitting enemies before because the framerate was inconsistent and the controls were just crap. But now it works. Still: the game is missing things. I really think mumtiplayer destroys the game. To me the game feels best Solo on a high difficulty. This way it feels like a Mix between survival horror and loot shooter in a cool arkane style. Also I would love more immersive sim aspects. This world is a cool vampire game playground. But prey, dishonored or deathloop feel more alive. I think minor changes could do a lot here. And traveling forth and back between the maps would be cool. I hope they dont give up here. The game has the potential for a comeback like cyberpunk or no mans sky had

RedFall plays and simply feels so much better following recent updates. It is much improved and it is the first game I've played where 6 FPS actually made the game feel different, feel better. Having said that I think the game is still in need of improvement but RedFall can now hold its head up amomgst XBox games. What would I like to see moving forward? Improved AI and graphics. Both are much better than at launch, but still need work. Trap and throwing mechanics. I miss the ability to throw rocks as a distraction, and molotov cocktails are a ready made improvised weapon. Amongst others...thrown knives or shurikens. Grenades, of various types. Both would add tactical complexity. Animals. Both as pets and allies, and foes. Roaming packs of feral dogs. Crows and ravens used as spies. Cats hissing at ghosts. Perhaps some hints at a more supernatural world. Zombies, ghosts, wraiths, mummies, werewolves, Old Gods and Eldritch Horrors. More exploration of magic in the world. More character archetypes...the gadgeteer. The trapper. The mage. The swordsman. The ninja. The vampire as a PC. The Werewolf as a PC. The BeastMaster. Save and character slots. And a crossover. Buffy. Mr Pointy as a bonus weapon. Lets see Blade. Or the BPRD. Wheres Van Helsing and his Vatican helpers when you need him? Isn't this a mystery Constantine would want to check out? Or how about 4 nosy teenagers and their dog? A rebalancing and rethinking of the special powers of each character. Wishful thinking, and not to everyones taste.

Great game, although I do have a few gripes about it. Considering vampires need to be killed in a special way, this causes problems when only 3 weapons are available for quick selection, so in SP I go into my backpack way too often to switch guns, which kills immersion for me. I wish they did not go "Borderlands" so much, I think that was the biggest mistake. I like looting, but having to sell junk guns every few minutes is irritating. If it was not for this stupid "Borderlands" system, this game would be a classic. Also, I hate that I can't holster guns, WHY was this omitted?? This also majorly breaks my immersion, sadly. Nevertheless, I put about 200 hours into the game already and still enjoy playing it, even if my arms may be killing me for holding my guns up continually....

listen bro. this game got way more hate than it deserved. i loved this game when it came out. played it on pc so that i could get good fps. i truly believe it got hate because it was an Xbox game. that's why people are saying there is an Xbox tax. if this got released on PlayStation, i don't think it would have gotten all that hate. if you compare this game to arcane's other game death loop, redfall blows it away. this is my opinion of course.

Love this game even when it first came out and my only problem was the constant crashing in the middle of a important mission or side mission. But seeing it now I’m glad it’s in a good direction now and when I last played this game I was on the end boss and I’m not going to spoil anything but one tip I can give is make sure you have solid weapons and try to level up your abilities as much as you can

Yeah. It still sends you back but i think it sends you to your nearest safehouse. But also you can fast travel to any safe house you've unlocked now. So it's quick getting back to where you were. I've died maybe 5 or 6 times so far, so I'd have to check again and make sure.

I played the other night on mid difficulty and I found nothing to be one shot, in fact the Vampire groups where blinking at me in mobs and downing team mates all over the place. I have not tried any other difficulty tbh

All the gameplay you see here is Dusk difficulty. Nothing was one shot. So on midnight or higher I would imagine is even harder.

I am enjoying the game after update 3. It is a fun creepy game and I love the environment. Arkane has a chance to really come around with this game in 2024. Keep adding quality of life stuff. More NPC’s you can talk to around town and it obviously needs matchmaking. The game is definitely miles better than it was at launch. Arkane stated that they will keep releasing updates for it. Also as you said, not every game needs to be a highly competitive multiplayer shooter like Halo or Call of Duty.

Redfall has definitely improved after the latest update. I agree with the comments of the narrator. The vibe of the game is wonderful and this would make for a wonderful Netflix animated series too. With 60 fps on Xbox now available, the gameplay is smooth. I just feel that the difficulty at the beginning feels a bit rough especially with the checkpoint/safe house system. But I think this will improve fairly quickly as i level up

Been rocking with it since launch. They nailed the atmosphere with the map and dynamic day/night and climate cycles. Keeps the game looking fresh to me. Playing it co-op on higher difficulties gets real fun.

i will get this game now on epic games for alot of discounted so its about 10usd mayby 13usd now w all discounts and that amount will the game atleast be worth i hope!! GTX 1650 i5 9400f 16 gb ram as far i seen will i be able to play redfall with atleast on middle or even high settings if i skip fps at 60fps so hope it looks good on middle.. So i will now se what everybody is complaining about(i just complain about 100gb of size on hdd when none of my 4hdd/ssd are full of other games(hard to decide what to uninstall so 10tb is full!).. this game still needs alot to eve nstart getting people to pick it up it dont have alot of weapons your talking about searching houses for cool guns, you get atleast one of ever gun in the game by the time you beat your first play through. without looting every house ECT. the fact that you can beat the game 2 times on the hardest difficulty while doing every side quest and main quest just to get a max level character. it needs more in the world to level your character in one play through. maybe even some repeatable boss fights to farm some better weapon's ECT. that only the boss drops. the game is just lackluster in content to make the majority of people come play the game more consistent. it don't have any reason to play every day once you beat it. there no reason to come back and earn more weapon's and gear. because you see and get everything after a playthrough or two. then your done. it gets boring and dull.

I question if the single player playability can be salvaged. Human enemies are too slow/weak & the bigger Vamps are WAY TOO FAST imo. Reloading guns is slow as molasses, applying health pack is SUICIDE when the big fast vamp is on your butt. This game really needs a retooling and a dodge boost added to the B button. Really want to like this game but I find the movement to just be MISERABLE. Even switching weapons on controller is painfully slow. The boss vamps also basically ONE HIT you & you’re dead. About to beat the game & im just very disappointed as a solo player on normal. I’d sum the game up by many fun moments that are just absolutely ruined by the few bad moments. It is fixable but it would take a hero. Very skeptical that msft or Arkane Austin has a hero to fix(address) my gripes

3 things I'm dying for, ESPECIALLY THIS GAME are 1 more cosmetics and skins, legit anime, eastern styled clothes (yukata's and or Kimono's) long skirts and dresses (for all characters, it'd be awesome) Just general customization is something I see working very well Of course all in good time 2, this idea... debatable ... When I saw the trailer for this game, I was like. This looks cool, but it just looks like its another zombie shooter, BORING!! Though after seeing some clips and stuff I'm now thinking otherwise it does look like more fun then my first thought. What I would like to see is some Melee combat and weapons. I do see a lot of potential and problems with wanting this, still I would like that. In appocolyptic settings like this we aren't always gonna have guns to shoot with, and if these are people who got some guns and are surviving sure great. But not everything needs to have guns. If its all gunshooting I'm not gonna be to crazy about a game, unless I see other things that draw me in, like customizing, characters, artstyle, story. There are exceptions of course, this game is about to be one of them, but I still would like some melee weapons and combat It doesn't need melee, but I'd like it 3. MORE CHARACTERS Need I say more?
