I think they are afraid that Microsoft will buy Sony out of business (by buying studios and publishers). I don't blame them. I don't really like the way xbox is just buying up everything without showing they can handle it either.

MWIII is not an xbox game, they had no hand in the development of it and it was purchased after. Starfield is sitting at 83-86 on Metacritic and Opencritic from critic scores and users which are you, the players, the ones crying about xbox tax, scored it as a 7...

I never said Xbox was responsible for its development. I said it's owned by xbox now, so they will not be getting a fair shake on reviews. Meanwhile ps can put out the same games over and over and everyone praises them.

It got hammered in reviews because the campaign was a let down compared to the quality that's usually associated with Modern Warfare campaigns. Other than the last of us's multiple remasters and ports I don't see what "same games" you're talking about

You are absolutely right starfield isn’t a 7 it’s a 3 , outdated and boring empty and bland . Xbox is a console You get if your friends have one and that’s it end of story . There is no bias PlayStation make great games exclusif same for Nintendo , Xbox has no games

I play on a PS5, and I simply download games and play them! I do not usually read reviews but I could not care less about them! You are putting too much thought on this!

I do the same. But my worry is all the hate will deter people from trying xbox and their games. If xbox can't catch a fair shake with their games and consoles, they will go the way of Sega. I don't want that. I enjoy the games from both ps and xbox either way....I just don't want xbox pushed to 3rd party publisher because of the gatekeepers in the "gaming industry".

Gonna throw in my two cents: I highly doubt there is a bias against Xbox. When media outlets are consistently reviewing Xbox games highly (I personally didn’t like Starfield but it got an 86 on Metacritic so maybe i’m an outlier), IGN gave Forza Horizon 5 their GOTY in 2021, Psychonauts 2 was nominated for GOTY at TGA in 2021, HiFi Rush and Forza won awards at this year’s TGA, I just don’t see it. If anything I’d say they’re soft on Xbox. Redfall and MW3 were hilariously bad imo and still got the reviews to reflect that (most of the playerbase agrees). Then we look at Forza Horizon 5 and Motorsport which got overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics but the fans aren’t too enthused with those games. For my money, Horizon 5 is just a map update for 4 that made the game worse, and Motorsport is just plain broken and not fun to play. At the end of the day, all of this is personal opinion and it truly doesn’t matter. I saw the negative reviews on Steam for Starfield but still decided to try it and found out I didn’t like it unlike previous Bethesda RPGs.

Bro not even going to finish this video. The moment you say "MW3 is technically a microsoft game" is when you lost me. It's not "technically" it's literally NOT a microsoft game. It was made BEFORE microsoft bought Activision, in fact we won't get a Microsoft CoD till at least 2025. We might see some input and changes for 2024 CoD but we won't get a truly Microsoft CoD till 2025.
