Redfish Catch and Cook - I Caught my BIGGEST REDFISH Surf Fishing a Shipwreck! My 1st Catch & Cook!

You asked; I delivered! Several of my subscribers have asked me to do a catch and cook video, and when I caught my PB redfish, it was the perfect situation to do a catch and cook video!
I wasn't sure where to fish at until a little while before I left, following my instincts south to Ormond Beach where there is a shipwreck close to shore to attracts lots of species of fish. I'm SO GLAD I followed my gut! I not only caught my PB redfish but I reeled in 17 fish total, several species, and had a ton of fun! Recording in my kitchen was fun too, even though I was recording during a thunderstorm, lol. You'll hear that in the background.
I included a bit of content we got on the @GoFishCam because it was not fully charged and wasn't running long enough to get enough footage to do a whole video.
I don't use exact measurements when cooking my fish, but here are the ingredients I used for each recipe:

Blackened Redfish:
Ingredients:
- Redfish Fillets
- Salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
- Redfish Magic seasoning (Chef Paul Prudhomme) to taste
- Butter
Directions:
- Sprinkle both sides of the fish with salt and pepper and the redfish magic seasoning, rubbing it in slightly before turning.
- Melt a few tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium high heat.
- Place fillets in preheated pan and cook about 4-5 minutes on each side or until nice blackened color and fish is cooked through.
- ENJOY

Fried Whiting:
Ingredients:
- Whiting fillets
- Everglades fish fry seasoning
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Eggs
- Oil for frying
- Cast iron pan (if available)
Directions:
- Heat oil on medium-high heat in a cast-iron pan or whatever pan you will be using (adjust temperature as needed)
- In a bowl or container bigger than the size of the fillets, mix 1/2 and 1/2 everglades seasoning with Parmesan cheese (if you like spicy food, go heavier on the Everglades). I add some salt and cracked pepper as desired.
- Whisk eggs in a bowl.
- Salt and pepper the fillets, then dip them into the egg mixture and then into the everglades/Parmesan mix and place it on a plate
- flick a small amount of the seasoning into the hot oil to test if it is hot enough. When it's ready carefully place fillets into the oil, being careful not to crowd it too much. Cook for a few minutes on each side, making sure to not overcook.
- Remove from the pan and drain on a plate with paper towels - ENJOY!
