I would imagine it would be extremely easy to do assassination mission as an Imperial spy. Have a ViP from a specific species that cannot handle certain human food (like dog and chocolate), just mix some of that and cover it as a party/feast.

Tbh, the rebels ground troops were not super effective against the empire, most Rebel victories were done in space.

The Rebels couldn't really win in an open ground engagement against the Empire (as we've seen in the Battle of Hoth) so I think they would've relied on small-scale commando "hit and run" styled tactics to harass Imperial infantry and armor.

I’d say being a rebel leader like mon mothma would suck since you’re dealing with the stress of trying to organize a rebellion with very limited resources and man power while also being a priority target for imperial attacks.

In Star Wars Rebels I loved Captain Rex as a clone trooper and a rebel pathfinder Endor trooper and I especially love the pathfinder Endor rebel troopers because they were awesome in the final battle on the surface of Endor and they are awesome.

I mean yeah there could be a video made on that but majority of the roles that were part of the CIS were all done by droids and not biological beings other than maybe separatist generals/commanders which were usually organic like Ventress and Trench. I don't imagine that the droids really cared about what jobs they were assigned to.

Pathfinders are definitely the best here as they would be trained in stealth and survival so they could survive behind enemy lines undetected for long periods of time.

Every job in the Rebel Alliance is the worst job. You have almost no gear for the job, no plot armor (TIE pilots and stormtroopers kill you just fine), there is a huge target on your back... Not to mention, you are a TRAITOR)

I always assumed the Rebels on Hoth were just the regular soldiers dressed in warm coats. Same for any climate specialization the rebellion faced. Strapped for resources and personnel, remember?

Not after Alderaan, by then alot more forces had joined in Plus it is noted that several Cells were actually Planetary Militas/Militaries the Imperials told "Disarm, you no longer have a job and we are not hiring" So generally While Some cells like Pathfinders are More mixed bag Others were made up of Either folks that were local or Well trained in the terrain types

Rebele winter troopers inst a job listing. It's just reg troopers set up on a cold planet. They also didn't all die. The man in charge died, but he was able to evac a large amount of troops. Where luke got his x wing to leave was the final evac sight for these troops.

Agreed. It wasn't as if the Rebel Alliance had training facilities for all these different specialized troops. Nor did they always know in advance where they would end up, once they evacuated from one hidden base to another. They couldn't just call up central command at a moment's notice and ask to swap out one unit of specialists for another. They were, after all, a rag-tag organization of freedom fighters, not a professional standing military.
