Corporations owned by Canadians can't make visitors work for them without a Lmia, and he selling a idea that a foreign entity who is allowed to open a Corporation in Canada is ok to work as a contractor. I don't buy this and it's just a marketing strategy to get more clients. In the end it's going to be a owner operator lmia. I am working with senior lawyers in asurrey Bc and they call it a BS

He doesn’t seem to understand CCPC. He states you need 25% Canadian ownership. As the name suggests, it must be a Canadian controlled (i.e. 50+%). Second completely wrong information he provided was that by applying for TRV from within Canada, you can stay in Canada. You need a visitor record. If he is RCIC, he needs to be reported. In addition, the radio station needs to be made aware of material misstatements in peddling of information in this case. The radio needs to issue a retraction or complaint should be filed with CRTC. This is not to take away from other false information about contractors can work in Canada without authorization.
