Good video. A small correction. There's a big difference between terms "refugee" and "asylum seeker". I am a refugee recognized by UNHCR. Once you escaped your country and arrived in the third country and submitted your documents for registration for the protection, after first interview, and your complete written statement, you would be granted a registration number and UNHCR identification document (it maybe an ID card or certificate) mentioning you as someone seeking for asylum on political grounds. Same is the process for almost all the countries of the world. Afterwards; your claim, your evidence: documents, circumstances would be certified and valued, and then final interview known as RSD (refugee status determination) interview would usually take place 1-3 years. If that goes successful, your status would then change from ASYLUM SEEKER to REFUGEE.
