Thanks for reacting to this wonderful performance by Dan. He does have a heart of gold, and his voice is just so soft and beautiful in this one, as it should be. Please do react to American Trilogy, but be prepared. It is a gut wrenching performance by Dan, sung just 5 days after his father passed away, as a tribute to his father who loved Elvis and that song in particular. He sings it with such beauty and uses every ounce of strength to get through it. I have never been more impressed by Dan than by this one, even though he has other songs that I love much more.

Your reaction was the same as mine the first time I watched this. You should go ahead and check out Dan's cover of "American Trilogy" which Annie mentioned in her message to Dan. Dan's father was a huge Elvis fan. About 6 days after his dad passed away from cancer, Dan covered Elvis's American Trilogy as a tribute to his father. So yeah, you'll probably want a box of tissues for that one too. Thanks for reacting.

NO, you're not crying, im crying....we're all crying!!! Just imagine Annie sitting by Robert's bed playing this song for him, while holding his hand, them looking into each other's eyes, knowing their love has been served. And Dan doing this for them is such a loving gesture.
