Talent that easily challenges, and often surpasses the "professionals". Dan is one of those that elevate every piece when works on. Thank you , I’m 76 now , living with my daughter and family 2 grand daughters, I new great grandson, also have one learning disabled son , I lost my oldest son , 54 to transplants, born diabetic ,I’ve lost 2 husbands too heart attacks, first one I was alone with 3 young children, worked 2 jobs to get them through school, but I love Lord and Savior, I owe him for all he’s done for me and my family , this family has never owned their owned home, always moving , always poor,but never blaming God, I just know my purpose in life was to take care of my family, with little stuff around the house we rent. I helped feed the kids at church on Sunday and at special events helped feed a bunch of people, loved every minute of it, just can’t do it anymore. I’m so blessed to have my sweet family! Sorry to bend your ear, I’ll stop here. God’s not dead and he’s not done with me yet😢😊, Jesus sweet Jesus is coming back , Praise God !!!! I’m trying to learn all about being a Christian, all I’m sure of is, I’m doing the best I can. I’m blessed to have a hearing aid for my good ear, now I can hear the birds singing when I can go on porch and have my coffee and have a little talk with Jesus 😊. Dan, I pray you see this, as I have - the first time in 55 years - been absolutely BLOWN AWAY with your rendition of "Love Me Tender!" I was only 4 yrs old when I first saw & "fell in love" with Elvis. I have carried a life long affinity for him and his music. I have been a staunch advocate for "his songs" to remain "his" as I had NEVER heard anyone do a cover with any justice! I NOW have to admit, that is NO LONGER the case!! The first words from you, INSTANTLY transported me back to hearing that song for the first time!! You not only gave it the JUSTICE it deserved, but you honored it and Elvis in your rendition. I came to your channel thru the release of your cover of Amazing Grace. This is my husband's favorite hymn of all time. It is the only hymn that he wants played at his memorial service. Previously he'd requested a simple bagpipe playing rendition, but upon hearing your cover, he has asked - as a lifelong rocker himself - that we do what we can to make your cover, the one played when the time comes. He has several chronic health issues that could flare and take him at any time, but we pray and do all we can to keep that at bay. You have not only an AMAZING voice, but a massive range regarding genres that many are not blessed with!!

But when it comes to losing your spouse, it's a whole new matter. I've lost a sibling, I've lost a cousin, I've lost aunts and uncles, I lost my grandparents that raised me, I lost Maggie who also helped raise me, and I lost my Daddy. My condolences. I have heard this young man sing Amazing Grace which was sung go my mother on her death bed. This song has always been a very sentimental song for me. Everytime I heard it i would cry in sadness for the loss of my mom. When i was blessed to hear this young man sing amazing grace it was so powerful i was in tears. But i noticed my tears were not sadness but of joy in remembering the life of my mom. I never felt such a powerful sense of peace in my life. My wife and i got married on the same date as my mother and father, he loved her so much and she loved him. Its a long story but her family neglects and treats her like trash which is why she has major depression. He was a hard ass man but always opened up for her and would even smack me in the head when i was being a jerk lol, i suffer from no filter and intense sarcasm lol. I am now ill with a hole in my bladder getting infections every other week, i cant afford to stop working because of my wifes mental health she cant hold a job. I dont know how much longer i am able to keep up the act of being ok when in truth each infection gets me closer to going septic and possible death but i have been watching your videos and listening to your Q and A responses, i strive to keep going and it is your music that gives me the strength to get up and do shit, gets me in the mood to just get up and move even when my pain is at its most extreme. I cant thank you enough, just being real and being you. If you ever need a idea for a cover, Truly Madly Deeply by savage garden is me and my wifes song.

Just the other night I heard you sing Amazing Grace and I was astounded at the beautiful rendition of my favorite hymn. So I shared it with my late son, Chris' best friend Stephen. I subscribed that night. Then tonight I heard you allow someone to use your music at her husband's funeral and you graceously gifted them with this beautiful song. I am your fan for the rest of my life! I was a little girl in first grade when this song by Elvis was played on the radio. One day my first grade teacher, Mrs. Cook, let us sing songs in front of the class. Of all the songs a first grader might choose, I picked "Love Me Tender".
