I have a couple Sonible plugins Smart:EQ 3 (which I need to get back into using) and Entropy:EQ+. I find the Entropy:EQ+ really great for sculpting snares, even really cool on hi hats if you want the transients of the hi hat to stick out a bit more or for things to sound tighter.

@@WeissAdviceI advise you that it can change the tonal sound of the drum sound quite a bit, unless you use it very sparsely.

In fact I find I have the free 'Entropy' version in my plugin folder. It only has that one function. Must try and use it!

That's pretty cool! Some of those effects feel a little unnatural to me out of context but I'm curious about how it fits into a full mix. I imagine it could be really powerful for sound design, especially when stacking a few of them!

They can get a little artifact heavy when pushed. But they’re really cool ways of rethinking EQ

well I don't want to sound impolite but if u think about it it is normally US companies that re stuck in this hardware emulation idea while in Europe we are far more creative and innovative: FabFilter.. Steinberg... Native Instruments... now not sure about Sonible but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a European company too.. I don't know eh?! I have to check I have 3 plugins of theirs the SMART eq, comp. and limiter
