Rediscovering Star Trek Discovery - Battle at the Binary Stars

Star Trek Discovery returns for its fifth and final season.
Yes, I will be watching and reviewing as long as I can hold out. It's been a few years since I actually watched STD. So I went back and did a live watch of the premiere episode of STD. But, the premiere was actually 2 episodes
Of course, I had to go back and finish the premiere by re-watching Battle at the Binary Stars.
What did this old Trek fan think?

Yeah it really was a disappointment. I wanted to like it but never cared about the characters. You need to have your audience care about the characters to be invested.

now only is it without question the worst star trek series by far, but it's one the worst, if not the worst, sci show ever.
