The Leicester to Rugby line has been gone over 50 years, join me as I take a journey along what remains of the line from the remains of South Wigston station to Rugby. What gems can we find along the way?

Thanks for posting the video. I used to live in South Wigston and have walked along that embankment several times. I didn't know the route the railway took but now you have pieced it together!

Interesting vlog. I was born and raised on Beeching Close behind the railway. Had so many adventures on the disused railway line as a child in the early 1970's

This line like the GC is local to me, not as local however. Great video. That embankment is really tall. Pictures of it look insane, some things say it collapsed. Can't say whether it did or not.

The bridge's at crow Mills were originally brick until the river soar and canal burst there banks causing the bridge to collapse and they repaired it with a wooden section over the river & canal then used those nice blue bricks to build it back only this time it had a metal top section. I also as a child i used to play in the old butterly brick quarry at Glen parva before it was filled in I remember the great central train lines being removed next to the clay pits the quarry now a landfilled in the 70s.

You missed the two bridges over the trackbed at the back of the Redrow estate
