On your decals, if you have a problem child decal try Solv-a- Set decal dressing from Walthers Model RailRoad company, it works great on finaky decals and makes them settle down nicely or the Tamiya brand decal dressings. Great job and glad that your back in action!!!

Hey DCR, have you ever checked out the chrome-like finish you can lay down with powder coating? I’ve never seen a side-by-side comparison with factory-fresh chrome, but the times i’ve seen the powder coating method used on other restoration channels, it looks way more authentic than “chrome” paint. It couldn’t be used on plastic parts unfortunately (can’t conduct the needed electric charge), but should work fine on diecast. Just an idea 🙂
