I got a Poco X3 Pro (256Gb ROM and 8Gb RAM, with SD860) and it has a regular camera, my solution for that is to download the APK of the Pixel camera, which is fixed for this same phone and the photos come out wonderful, good balance of all the colors and that is thanks to the developers who are always there for us. I think there should be a version of the Pixel camera for this RedMagic and since it has the SD 8 Gen 1, the processing of the photos should be a bit more spectacular. IMHO!

For sure! The Pixel camera app, side loaded onto almost any phone, is a huge improvement. The majority of quality photos from phones comes down to the software. Google is a king in the computational photography space.

From what I've seen 8 Gen 1's almost need that fan. If someone released a gaming phone but designed it without all those gamery esthetics I'd swops it up. Basically like an S22 but with a fan lol.

No. The launcher only stays in the default Redmagic launcher. Sad but it's to keep all the main functions there.

The phone is great but for people buying this phone beware that support from Redmagic is poor at best. You have to ship the phone at your expense to Hong Kong….it’s crazy trying to get a straight answer from their customers service.

The A15 still smokes everything and the new M1 iPad Air is coming out, with all the supported apps, the Apple App Store seems like a far better value

Meh. I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max, I love iOS, but I decided to buy this phone because gaming wise it will be better, iPads are great yes, but it has no cooling, this has a built in fan, not to mention an additional fan attachment, AND air triggers which will be a game changer for apex mobile

yeah a15 on iphone only good for 5 to 10mins then throttles and dims iphone screen to prevent overheating😂😂😂 you know nothing son😂😂😂

I believe the SD8 Gen 1 only has a better GPU than the A15, everything else is better on the A15, especially power efficency. The A15 does throttle after 10 minutes, but thats the same for passively cooled Androids. IOS may have better optimization and support, but emulating is a much more difficult task on IOS. You can play Nintendo Switch games on this thing, and possibly run Windows 11 via the Rampage Project if you do some DIY. Iphones are a good all-rounder, this phone is meant for one purpose and it does it pretty well. *cough One of the reasons why I use Android is because its extremely easy to "get" games and apps.
