Just 1 day after releasing this video I have received software update for Redmi Note 9S - MIUI-V11.0.6 saying "Optimization: Issues with the display". It seems to be an update for the previous HDR bug, but it has nothing to do with screen bleeding. Screen bleeding is hardware related issue, not software. Cheers! :)

Actually, MIUI 11.0.5.0 already fixed the HDR issue. The latest update fix the bleeding issue at least on my device.

What exactly is an issue with fast typing (dont have redmi note 7)? I am used to 90Hz AMOLED screen now, so LCD on Redmi Note 9S feels kinda slower in all ways (typing, scrolling, etc.)

got mine yesterday. the best feature easily is the macro camera that has autofocus AND can record video - don't know any other phone that has these featues. add to it pro video controls and fantastic frame rate stability (most smartphones drop frames to save power/reduce heat) and i'm actually tempted to mix the macro footage in some of my client shoots 😏 also, the battery life is great for the performance it delivers. way more powerful than my LG V20 but not as battery sipping as Mi Max 2 (12hrs of screen on time/3-4days standby!) also also, easily rootable and great community support...the Note 9 Pro/9S is a VFM masterpiece!

Bro, are you sure? Screen bleeding is actually hardware related problem. Check your screen on the gray color background.

Thanks for the review. I've had the good fortune to do the research for a cheap phone for my partner. I've had the redme note 9s for a day and I'm surprised at your comments about sound. It's the best I've heard versus on my phones ever. I've got the Sony x1 and the sound of that is unimpressive. LG phone up to 6 the same. I thought the base was really good and the upper tones on the 9s. I'm thinking of getting myself one. I love the bigger phone size. The Sony x1 is too skinny and typing is really painful with such a narrow keyboard.

Bought mine about 3 weeks ago and I'm impressed with this phone. I have the 6gig 128g version and the phone has little to no lag. Only knock is that I tend to accidentally hit the lock button when in my pocket. MIUI takes some getting used to. Good camera and speakers for the price.

Hi. Brightness is okay. Of course its not the brightest screen like in flagship AMOLED models, but it's pretty decent. Hard to tell if it would hold up for you in yiur country, but it does the job for me :)

You cannot kill thisbattery I have used it over two days watching videos all day and I'll tell you I am sorry I wasted money on buying a Samsung at the same time I bought this I thought this would be a fun sidephone but I find I am using it way more than I thought it's a great phone for the money you tell me what else you can buy and the cameras are just off the hook
