Great video! Awesome project! i Love watching your videos. seeing you do work on a craftsman is inspiring me to a pulley change ( to a smaller pulley) on my free to me craftsman LT1000, the next step from a ride on mower to a mud mower. i bought a smaller pulley at tractor supply, but i will not be buying anymore pullies from tractor supply. have a wicked good time plowing snow. i would say call it: Franky (as in Frankinstein).Please keep up the Awesome work. :)

Since it's made with parts from so many different mowers, it's definitely a FrankenSnow Monster Plow machine!

"When you should buy a plasma" For me, it was after I spent an entire weekend fabricating a bumper and using only a grinder for cutting. With the plasma I could have done ALL of the cutting in the first day.

I called that mower the One Piece at time like the Johnny cash song. Since you mentioned it was made from a bunch different year lawn tractors . I know here in Michigan I like have that.

Basically you are making it the way the original GT’s were. When I did my Diesel Conversion on a GT 6000 years ago, this is exactly the same way I did my drive setup. It is possible to keep everything stocks when it comes to the tractor side and the original clutch. I go by the colour when it comes to the year, if it’s the lite shiny silver it’s old, if it’s the darker gray it’s newer. But everything is interchangeable.

put a fan on the old pulley mount, that will cool it better. My vertical oppy has a fan from a hydro on the flywheel, and it runs 10x cooler.

I put a 3/4 pillow block on the steering shaft and got rid of that weird plastic block with the second bolt.

Will keep an eye on it. If it gets loose again I might do this that or weld in a wheel bearing like I do on my racers.

You have it the same drive setup as my Sears Suburban, I did a 420cc BiltHard amazon engine in it, pulled the Onan twine, never know its power is 3HP less....

Been watching your KZbin channel for a long time. Love the content. I have a question you maybe able to answer. I have a Polaris ranger ext 325. Engine has had its last day. I’m thinking of putting a Predator engine or a Duramax. I would like to run the Polaris primary or due you know of a clutch that would work with secondary on ranger. Thanks Kevin

I’m gonna swap a hydro transmission for a manual do I have to have a clutch ?
@Mo_21187 ай бұрын
yes, otherwise you will grind gears until you blow it up
@dodgeme1986truck7 ай бұрын
Yup even the hydrostatic transmissions usually have clutches often built into the brake pedal
