I did 2 coats of paint for those of you that are very concerned about it ;) the paint I used claimed to be a 'one coat full coverage on any color' anyways, but thats none of my business

I think the paint isn’t white because you didn’t prime the walls so the yellow wasn’t completely covered up

No, she probably just got a more blue toned white as I accidentally did on my room which was the same colour as hers. The regualr white and blue toned white looks almost the exact same with or without primer.

Actually it depends on the painting some paint is pigmented enough to not use a primer. For most paints you actually don’t need a primer to cover up previous colors just depends how well you coat the walls but her walls don’t look completely white. Meaning the paint she got had a blue undertone to it. Because if you were right then the walls would appear a different color and not a blue.

In the future, you should get sample sizes of the paint colors you want and test them on the walls. Just so that way you can see how the color looks in the lighting of your room versus how the color looks from the lighting in the store. I hope that makes sense. But I absolutely love how you redid your room. It inspires me to redo mine, paint and all! 🤩

If you're painting white over colored walls, you are supposed to sand them down first. That's why they look blue.

glossy x good quality wallpaper is expensive lol those foam sheets only cost like 5-11 dollars depending on what size you get. I think she was just saying that the faux brick wall was harder than other videos made it out to be and letting ppl know that it wasn’t a project that was as quick as she imagined.

Christin de Marie good quality wallpaper can be affordable, you just have to shop around, she brought like what 4/6 packs of the styrofoam sheets that’s like at an extreme £50 ($55/6ish usd)and there’s plenty of affordable websites with good quality wallpaper that for like 3 rolls come way cheaper, her wall looks really good and stuff but all i’m saying is she worked harder instead of working “smarter” which just isn’t how i work.
